On day one, tons of talent in the state of Tennessee received phone calls from various college programs.
A couple of prospects picked up offers.
Here’s some of the action from Monday.
Skyy Clark, Brentwood Academy: The 6-foot-2 combo guard picked up an offer from Minnesota. Clark has a total of 19 D1 offers.
Brian Edwards Jr., Knoxville Catholic: Edwards heard from Georgia, Virginia Tech, Seton Hall, Western Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Ohio State.
The 6-2 point guard currently holds offers from Wake Forest, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Florida, Auburn, Georgetown and South Carolina.
Malik Dia, Ensworth: The 6-8 small forward heard from Virginia Tech, Appalachian State, UT-Chattanooga, UNC Charlotte, Western Kentucky, Oral Roberts, Illinois State and UT-Martin.
Cade Pendleton, East Hamilton: The 6-8 forward heard from George Washington, Elon, Cornell, Air Force, Bethune-Cookman, Dartmouth, Valparaiso, UT-Chattanooga, UNLV, Belmont, Furman, Utah State, Appalachian State, Harvard, Lipscomb and Presbyterian.
Daniel Egbuniwe, FACS: Egbuniwe heard from Tennessee State, Arkansas State, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee State and University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The 6-6 wing has a lone offer from TSU.
Corey Savage, FACS: Savage heard from UALR and Rhodes College.
Kobe Wilkes, FACS: Wilkes heard from Texas Southern, UALR and Tennessee State.
T.J. Thomas, FACS: Thomas heard from Texas Southern and South Alabama.
Chandler Jackson, Christian Brothers: Florida State, Auburn, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Alabama and Memphis reached out to the 6-4 point guard.
Jackson holds offers from Ole Miss, TCU, Vanderbilt and Alabama.
Reggie Bass, Hamilton Heights Christian Academy: Bass heard from Purdue, Virginia Tech, Evansville, Wake Forest, Texas Tech, Virginia, Xavier, Arkansas and Georgia State. The 6-4 shooting guard holds offers from Florida and the Red Raiders.
Chauncey Holmes, Kingsbury: Holmes heard from UALR.
Braden Ilic, Morristown East: The 6-9 forward heard from Belmont, Liberty, Virginia Tech, Western Kentucky, George Washington and Appalachian State. Ilic picked up an offer from the Mountaineers.
Micah Simpson, Morristown East: Simpson heard from Appalachian State, Virginia Tech and East Tennessee State.
Jaylin Smith, Westwood: Smith heard from Tougaloo College.
Hayden Ledbetter, Lausanne: Campbell University and UT-Martin reached out to the 5-10 point guard.
Zach Amonett, Pickett County: The 6-2 combo guard heard from Belmont, Appalachian State, Western Kentucky, UC Irvine and University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Braeden Moore, CPA: The 6-8 forward heard from Vanderbilt, Belmont, Purdue, Western Kentucky, Air Force and UNC Charlotte.
Christopher Brunt: The 6-3 combo guard heard from UNC Charlotte, UT-Chattanooga and Wofford.
Phil Dotson III, Arlington: Dotson heard from Appalachian State, UNC Charlotte and Western Kentucky. He also heard from Murray State two weeks ago.
Felix Okpara, Hamilton Heights Christian Academy: Okpara heard from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Florida and Creighton. He holds offers from Florida, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and San Diego State.
2021
The University of Pennsylvania reached out to shooting guard Reese McMullen (Christian Brothers). The 6-2 shooting guard holds offers from Army, Lipscomb, Dartmouth and Holy Cross.
University of West Georgia and Dartmouth reached out to guards Marcus Long and Darwin Randolph.
James Madison, Western Kentucky and Purdue reached out to 6-6 ½ wing Isaiah Jones Isaiah Jones 6'8" | SF Arlington | 2021 State TN . Jones holds an offer from Kentucky State.
2023
Texas Southern reached out to point guard Jasen Brooks from Cleveland High School. UAB, Florida and UT-Chattanooga are also looking at Brooks.
