Here is a recap of each episode with the link to watch it back, along with older episodes on Instagram TV.
Troy Boynton Troy Boynton 6'4" | CG Baylor School | 2021 State TN (Westminster)
The 6’4″ guard took us through his training sessions during COVID-19 which includes having a half court in his backyard. Boynton has offers out from UNF, Stetson, FGCU and Rollins College. He is a talented shooter who has expanded his game on the attack and a leader for a Westminster group that contends year in and year in the state tournament in Lakeland. Expect a big leap from the high IQ combo guard this fall.
Terell Strickland (Scotland Campus)
Terell Strickland, one of three kids of former longtime NBA standout Rod Strickland had a fun talk with me on Tuesday night. The 6’ guard took a postgrad year at Scotland Campus in Pennsylvania and his hard work paid off as he committed to James Madison last month. Strickland took me through his basketball journey, playing at Tampa Catholic on JV for two years and then moving over to St. Pete alongside his brother Tai. Strickland has gotten stronger and told stories about losing his two favorite pair of shows, meeting rapper J. Cole and LeBron James and his goals ahead on and off the court.
Jason Jackson (Sarasota Riverview)
Live from the beach, 6’3″ guard Jason Jackson talked with me about his steady freshman season at Sarasota Riverview. He was the lone freshman on the team and he ran with the opportunity to be the point man for much of the year. He told me he’s working on furthering his 3-point game to go along with his array of attacks and mid-range shots. He discussed his experience at the City of Palms Classic in games and in the dunk contest. Jackson is a determined athlete with speed and quickness who is certain to blow up this fall.
Tyson Ward (North Dakota State)
The last time I saw Tyson Ward, he was a skinny senior just really starting to his stride at Tampa Prep. Fast forward over four years and Ward leaves North Dakota State as the only player in program history to record 1,500 points, 700 rebounds and 250 assists. The 6’6″ guard is a humble and mature kid who hired an agent a month ago as he explores his options with the NBA and overseas. He talked to me about his basketball progression, March Madness experience playing Duke and talking with Coach K last March and more in a very informative interview.
Gregg Glenn Gregg Glenn 6'7" | PF Calvary Christian (FL) | 2022 State #161 Nation FL (Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian)
The 24th ranked 2022 prospect in the Prep Hoops national rankings/the No. 4th ranked 2022 prospect in the Prep Hoops Florida rankings talked with me about everything hoops. The 6’7″ guard/forward informed that he was a football player until the age of 13 when he switched to basketball. A strong and physical player, Glenn broke down his Team USA and Nightrydas EYBL experiences. He has offers from Miami, Iowa State, Michigan, UF, Oklahoma State, Alabama, FSU and USF currently. The upside is clear with Glenn as he says he is ready to take true command of his team.
