Big men cannot be ignored in basketball. This cannot be stressed enough. Even though the game favors the guard and shooter, it remains important to have a big man down in the post. These players prove that point tremendously.

Carson Howard (2023) | Lacey Township

Howard emerged as the future of basketball at Lacey. The 6’7 freshman had a big rookie year. He averaged 13.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He showed off his strength and ability to finish with contact. This landed him at the free throw line for some easy points. Howard is a big body with quick feet and strong hands. He is not a finished product, but his game is well beyond his years.

Jashair Rosa (2022) | Manchester Regional

Rosa and Asim JonesAsimJones5'10" | PGManchester Regional | 2022StateNJ are two threats in the Class of 2022 that will carry Manchester. They have already begun to do so with 20 wins this season. Rosa showed an ability to score from all three levels. He stepped out and hit the occasional three but did his best work down low. He led the team in rebounding and was second in scoring, only behind Jones.
