Matthew Delaney Matthew Delaney 6'7" | PF St. Augustine | 2021 State NJ (2021) | St. Augustine
Delaney will return to the top team in the county as the top big man. He averaged over 16 points per game and it did from all over the floor. Delaney showed an ability to step out and shoot from deep as he knocked down 15 three’s. He displayed a soft touch around the rim and at 6’4, had the size and strength to dominate on the block. Delaney will continue to improve and be a threat at the next level after his senior season.
Elijah Jones (2021) | Pleasantville
Jones is a very versatile player for Pleasantville. He is a 6’6 forward with the ability to play on the outside if need be. Jones has the skill set to dominate down low and take over a game from the post. He was Pleasatnville’s No. 1 option this season and that will be the case once again next season. Jones will be a must watch player every time he steps on the floor.
Anthony Colon (2022) | Egg Harbor
Colon has a chance to be one of the dark-horse players in the county next season. He saw limited action this season but averaged over three blocks per game when he was on the floor. Colon displayed strong instincts and anticipation which makes him a threat on both ends.
Mike Hamilton (2022) | Hammonton
It was a year full of growing pains for Hammonton but they will be much improved in 2020-2021. Hamilton is a player that will lead the charge. At 6’4, Hamilton has the size and is a strong athlete. He has the makeup to be the next great big at Hammonton and that will begin as a junior.
Devon Theophile Devon Theophile 6'5" | PF St. Joseph Academy | 2023 State NJ (2023) | St. Joe’s (Hamm.)
St. Joe’s (Hamm.) won 22 games last season behind some of their extremely skilled guards on the perimeter. Daniel Skillings Daniel Skillings 6'5" | SG Roman Catholic | 2022 State PA and Marcus Pierce Marcus Pierce 6'1" | CG Compass Prep | 2022 State NJ will be back in 2020-2021 along with Theophile. The forward showed great promise in his first season in high school. He displayed strong hands and quick feet on the block. He kept the floor balanced with the guards on the outside. Entering his sophomore year, Theophile can turn into one of the top forwards in the county.
