Isaiah Barnes Isaiah Barnes 6'5" | SG Simeon | 2021 State #139 Nation IL (Simeon)
Barnes has been bringing in the offers fast and furious without even playing a game this spring. He recorded new scholarships from Kansas, TCU, Maryland, Iowa, St. Louis, Wisconsin, Georgia, Iowa State, Michigan, Creighton, DePaul, and Texas A&M in the last two months alone. That is absolutely incredible! What makes it even more amazing is that he only landed one offer (Illinois) from October 2018 to March 2020. Barnes presents excellent size and an uber smooth offensive skill set. Range on his jump shot and has the ability to create his own offense off the bounce. PHI broke the news Thursday night that he will be transferring to Simeon from OPRF for his senior season.
Ben Schwieger Ben Schwieger 6'5" | SG Waubonsie Valley | 2021 State #229 Nation IL (Waubonsie Valley)
Despite not being able to play this spring his junior tape spoke for itself. This 6’5” bouncy small forward had a lot of helium heading into the spring. Excellent athlete that can really shoot it from the perimeter at a high level. Skilled all-around game including his improved passing. Established himself among the best mid-major wings on the board. That has been shown in his new offers this spring from UIC, UC Riverside, Loyola, UW-Milwaukee, William & Mary, and Southern Illinois.
Ty Johnson Ty Johnson 6'3" | PG Depaul Prep | 2021 State #198 Nation IL (DePaul Prep)
Johnson is an athletic combo guard that really improved playing on the ball and with his passing over the last year. Combine that with his athleticism it has really opened up the eyes of college coaches! Lethal spin move attacking the hoop off the bounce where he finishes with acrobatics. Plays well around ball screens. Since April he has scored scholarships from UW-Milwaukee, Colorado State, Loyola, Elon, Valparaiso, and Southern Illinois.
