Today NHR looks back on past rankings to see who some of our biggest misses were in terms of our final list for each class.

  1. Marcus Tyus of Anoka. Tyus was far better at Omaha than I ever expected him to be. Tyus was a career double figure scorer in the Summit League with a senior season of 17 a game. He also shot 40 plus percent behind the arc for his career.

  1. Nuni Omot of Mahtomedi. This is actually more a product of myself failing to do a winter ranking update (or end of the season ranking update) because I was too wrapped up in coaching. When we ranked these 2013 rankings it was the summer before the senior year and Omot had only played seven varsity games scoring 13 total varsity points entering his senior season. Obviously had we updated the rankings when we should of he would have (after his senior year) Nuni would of been way higher. Because of this there is the Omot Rule which means update the senior rankings after the senior season. Nuni was very good at Concordia-St Paul and then very good at Baylor
