This series will take a look at some lesser-known predominately unranked players from smaller schools across Georgia that have or will tear it up at the varsity level. You might not be able to find their hometown on a map, but that hasn’t stopped them from making a name for themselves.

Dynamite scorer from all three levels. Deep three-point range. Creates his own offense with the dribble and has good body control when attacking the hoop. Utilizes a floater when getting in the paint. Poured in 25.4 points per game while shooting 37% from three and 85% from the foul line.

HIGHLIGHTS

6-2 W Anthony Ogbonna – Our Lady of Mercy

Athletic swingman. Gets out in transition by playing passing lanes. Plays above the rim. Has a quick first step and a nice handle. Good finisher around the rim, able to contort his body and finish in traffic. Can occasionally knock down the three-pointer. Can guard a handful of positions. Posted 19.9 points, 9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3 steals per game.
