These are some prospects who will get looks from some of the smaller schools that will be a great addition to a program.
Owen LaRoca 6’3” SG • Fort Bend Christian • 2021
Owen is a solid catch and shoot two guard that was the main focus on his high school squad. He does have a good handle on the ball and could initiate an offensive set on the next level. He has quick hands and good lateral movement defensively. He had a really solid season for his squad. He averaged 20 ppg and shot 41% from behind the arc making 115 trey balls. He will once again lead his team next year and expect for his senior season to be a big one.
Marion Williams 6’0” PG • Klein Forest • 2021
Marion will light you up from deep. He has also shown this year that he can take his man off the dribble to the cup and finish at a much higher rate. He continues to grow within his game with a very solid offensive IQ and a scrappiness on the defensive side of the ball as well. He averaged 16 points per game and shot 38% for deep while netting 95 trey balls on the season. He will be the focal point as a senior next season.
Hudson Boyd 6’4” SG • Lake Creek • 2021
Hudson played a major role on his high school squads success this year as they made a deep playoff push. He is a solid perimeter player and also has a nice mid-range jumper and can get to the basket. He is a leader on the court and has a solid IQ on both sides of the ball. He averaged 14.6 ppg on the season and shot 38% from behind the arc netting in 66 trey balls on the season, look for him to have a big Senior season next year.
Jackson Peaks 6’3” SG • St. John’s • 2021
Jackson is a big time shot maker in clutch situations. Good catch and shoot prospect and also being ran off of screens suits his game style. He has great elevation on his jumper and can get his shot off over bigger defenders. He averaged 13 points per game and shot 43% from deep on the season. He made a total of 75 trey balls this year. He returns to a team that will be full of seniors and looks to have a big year and make a deep playoff run to State next year.
Trevor Passmore Trevor Passmore 6'2" | SG Cypress Woods | 2021 State TX 6’2” SG • Cypress Woods • 2021
Trevor is not just an outside threat, but he can also create his own shot. He is a scrappy player and will get in the mix to bang for rebounds. Solid catch and shoot prospect. Has a good IQ and a good motor as well. He averaged 11.4 ppg and grabbed up 5.1 rpg while shooting 33% from deep and making a total of 63 trey balls on the season.
