In our latests rankings coverage, we wanted to regionalize the lists a little more, here are Orange County’s best from No.’s 11-15
11. Liam Woodrum Liam Woodrum 6'0" | PG Anaheim Canyon | 2021 State CA-S , 2021, Anaheim Canyon – The lightning quick point guard is one of the best transition players in all of Orange County. Woodrum, a 6-foot rising senior, gets downhill in a hurry and has the ability to change speeds and direction on a dime to get to the cup. Woodrum is an instinctual passer and defender who uses his quick hands to rip defenders of the ball.
12. Marqui Worthy Marqui Worthy 6'3" | SF Sonora | 2022 CA-S , 2022, Sonora – Worthy is the glue guy who holds everything together for the tough Sonora squad. At 6-feet-3 and a strong 195-plus pounds, Worthy is difficult for most high school wings and guards to cover because of his combination of mobility and physicality in both transition and half-court settings. Worthy has the ability to rebound and push the break with his size and ball skills.
13. Pape Cisse Pape Cisse 6'8" | PF Fairmont Prep | 2021 State CA-S , 2021, Fairmont Prep – Cisse has that rare combination of size, ball skills and the ability to score inside and out. The 6-foot-8 forward can rebound and push the break while making a solid decision in the open court setting. Cisse changes ends of the floor well, can score in the paint with his back to the basket and gets out runs on the break.
14. Alpha Chibambe Alpha Chibambe 6'4" | SF JSerra | 2022 CA-S , 2022, JSerra – Chibambe should enter next season as one of the best and most versatile perimeter defenders in all of Orange County. The 6-foot-4 wing can guard multiple positions at the high school level with his combination of lateral speed, length, and physicality when cutting off drivers. Offensively, Chibambe is an athletic slasher who is always looking to put someone on a poster.
15. Chol Deng Chol Deng 6'4" | SF Fairmont Prep | 2022 State CA-S , 2022, Fairmont Prep – Deng is a guy who will be on more college’s radar come next season. The long, wiry wing hits jumpers off the bounce and off the catch with regularity and uses his long strides and quick twitch athleticism to finish around the rim in both transition and half-court settings. Deng has a chance to shoot up the rankings with a good effort during his junior season.
