Region 8 produced the 5A State Champion in Springville this past season but Region 8 will have a different look with a lot of those players graduating. With 8 team sin this region there is one team that stood out last season that had some underclassmen that could possible take it next season. A lot of the teams in the region besides last seasons top two lacked consistent play.

Provo High School could be the team to beat as they return two solid players in Juan Pablo Camargo and Isaac Castagneto. At 6’7 JPC has some solid upside and could be one of the best skilled bigs in the region. Isaac has that all-around game that coaches desire.

Maple Mountain will be lead by Tyler NelsonTylerNelson6'0" | PGMaple Mountain | 2021StateUT who had a solid year this past season. Maple Mountain had a lot of players that made solid contribution but will need to step it up.

Payson is that team that can make a big jump in the standings because they return some players that can score and some height in 6’7 Parker Larsen and Samuel Mitchell.

Salem Hills looses a lot of seniors that did most of the contribution to last
