An intelligent ball handler and facilitator who looks to get the ball up the floor and make moves and fast break situations. He can connect from three-point range and has a strong jump shot but he’s crafty and a thoughtful playmaker. Adams was a 6A All State honorable mention performer last season showing an all-around game and a lot of potential as a scorer.
Owen Braxmeyer Owen Braxmeyer 6'1" | CG Manhattan | 2021 State KS , 6’1, G, 2021, Manhattan
Braxmeyer is an intelligent guard who can create with his dribble, score after the catch and play aggressively on defense. An improved overall player last season, Braxmeyer earned 6A All-State honorable mention honors and showed good leadership and took initiative. A multiple sport athlete, Braxmeyer looked to score quickly and was a solid player in fast break situations.
Jack Chapman Jack Chapman 6'5" | CG Blue Valley Northwest | 2021 State KS , 6’7, G/F, 2021, BV Northwest
A first team All-State performer, Chapman is constantly looking to attack the basket and find paths and open teammates. He has a well-rounded skill-set and can do just about everything his team could ask. He looks to rebound, block shots, he can connect from three-point range and has good handles and size needed to make an impact as a ball handler or off the ball given his potential as a wing style player.
Lonnell Lane, 6’1, G, 2021, KC Harmon
An all around athlete with terrific athleticism and the ability to create with his dribble. Lane is a promising athlete who has an improving outside shot and the overall ability to overpower opponents and get to the basket and finish. He gets to the free-throw line a lot and is a strong on-ball defender. The kind of player who’s going to be making plays at the rim one way or another. Lane earned 6A second team All State honors for his play last season.
Alston Mason Alston Mason 6'2" | CG Blue Valley Northwest | 2021 State KS , 6’1, G, 2021, BV Northwest
Mason is an unselfish player with terrific handles who looks to push the tempo and feed his teammates the ball both inside and out. He can create for himself as well and has a nice step-back 3 point shot and a soft touch and has a smooth game overall. Mason recently picked up his first offer from UMKC. Mason has a high basketball IQ and he is a strong team leader who will likely have a much larger role next season. Mason earned 6A second team All State honors for his play last season.
Zeke Mayo Zeke Mayo 6'4" | CG Lawrence | 2021 State KS , 6’3, G, 2021, Lawrence
An all-around playmaker who has a great upside as a point guard, Mayo earned 6A second-team All State honors for his play last season. A 6’3 guard who can score, rebound and facilitate at a high level, Mayo shows terrific vision and a natural feel for his position. He can feed his teammates the ball when they are feeling it but can also step back and knock down 3-pointers as well. Mayo currently holds offers from UCA, North Alabama, Northern Colorado and South Dakota State.
