The updated Prep Hoops Nevada player rankings come out this month. Due to obvious circumstances, it’s been difficult to see as many players as we wanted live. The good news is, the recent shutdown has provided ample opportunity for me to discover talented players during hours of dedicated film study, because of this I expect these to be the most detailed and accurate rankings to date. In this article, PH takes a look at some players that will be making their first appearances in the c/o 2021 rankings.
Demetrius WilliamsDemetriusWilliams6'1" | SGLiberty | 2021StateNV 6’0 PG Liberty - Williams is a gritty defender that impacts the game on that side of the ball. On the offensive side, he is a driver that excels at scoring the basketball in transition.
Edgar BarajasEdgarBarajas5'5" | PGWest Wendover | 2021StateNV 6’5 SF Bonanza - Perhaps no player in any class will make a bigger rankings jump then Dockery. He suffered a gruesome leg injury in a fall league game that sidelined him for the majority of the season. He currently holds an offer from D1 Southern Utah, and when healthy is one of the top players in his class.

Logan GavendaLoganGavenda6'3" | SGParumph Valley | 2021StateNV 6’3 SG Parumph Valley - Gavenda put together a strong junior year for PV. He averaged just over 10 points and 7 rebounds per game. A good finisher around the rim, he had a season-high of 24 against Mojave.
Andrew MarshallAndrewMarshall6'4" | SFCoronado | 2021StateNV 6’4 SF Coronado - Marshall played key minutes for the Southeast conference co-champs. One of his best games came during the Beach Ball Classic where he contributed 9 points against a good Socaste squad.
Sean Kelkas 5’11 PG Elko - Klekas can be defined as the heart and soul of the two time 3A runner ups. A high IQ pg, he led the team in assist this season.
Will BarnumWillBarnum6'0" | PGVirgin Valley | 2021StateNV 6’0 PG Virgin Valley - Virgin Valley wasn’t great this year, but Barnum’s production can’t be overlooked. The junior guard averaged 14 per with 16 double-figure games last year. Quick slasher that can knock down the occasional 3, Barnum will make his first appearance in the rankings.
