Tajden Davis Tajden Davis 6'3" | CG Chiles | 2022 State FL (Chiles)
Up in the panhandle, Davis has been a true two-year contributor so far at Chiles. The 6’3″ guard averaged 11.1 PPG as a freshman (nine double digit games) and this past season, he averaged 13.4 PPG (20 double digit games). His 28-point outing against Florida High was a true tough-nosed performance as he connected on 9-of-14 shots from the field. He’s a powerful defender who is always looking to create turnovers and block shots. Offensively, Davis is an assertive driver and his stretch shooting is reliable. He is highly skilled on both ends (sophomore highlights).
Rasheed Baldwin Rasheed Baldwin 6'4" | SG Timber Creek | 2020 NC (Timber Creek)
There is no doubt that there is a clear upside in the making with Baldwin. The 6’4″ guard can shoot the ball well (42 percent from deep), handle it and move around with his pure speed. Averaging 7.6 PPG for a 19-10 Timber Creek unit this past season, he will only improve further as a junior. Baldwin had a breakout stretch from Jan. 23-Feb. 6 where he averaged 11.5 PPG, adding double digits in five of six games which included a season-best 18 points against Winter Springs. Baldwin is ready to take that leap.
Anthony Salazar Anthony Salazar 6'4" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2022 State FL (Champagnat Catholic)
Salazar got his feet wet on varsity as a freshman serving as a rotational piece. As a sophomore, the 6’4″ forward averaged 8.6 PPG and 5.0 RPG for Champagnat Catholic. He averaged 12.3 PPG across his first six games, netting double digits in five of them including a season-best 19 points against Riviera Prep to open the new year. Salazar is a very intriguing prospect due to his length, two-way ability and true effort level. He’s a player to keep a close eye on in the 2022 class.
Lewis Jones Lewis Jones 6'6" | CG Oak Ridge | 2022 State FL (Oak Ridge)
Appearing in five games as a freshman at Oak Ridge, Jones mixed in a bit then. This past season, he earned a bigger role but there is still work to do for the 6’6″ forward. Jones is a lengthy player who is still figuring out his exact strengths. He likes to shoot the ball and get up and down the floor and finish. Defensively, adding strength will do him wonders as he heads into his junior campaign. Jones averaged 5.3 PPG and 4.0 RPG in around 14 minutes per game. Look for him to play with a lot to prove this fall.
Arizne Nnamoko (Schoolhouse Prep)
On a Schoolhouse Prep team that has made two straight state tournament appearances, the success has spoken. Three senior guards graduate this month and there is still plenty of talent in place. A raw but developing big there is Nnamoko. He is a 6’9″ center who averaged 2.4 PPG and 5.5 RPG. Those numbers don’t pop off the page, but there is one thing that does when you watch him play, his clear presence in the game. He will have to get stronger and gain weight, but his frame is something that can be molded. I expect a big jump in his junior campaign.
