6’8 Keion Buford – Sacramento HS, Sacramento
Buford is an intriguing postman with some upside. He’s athletic with long arms and has good hands. He’s a little thin and must develop some bulk/strength to prepare for the next level. Buford shoots it ok in the mid range. He needs to improve his post-up game some. He can rebound and block shots at the defensive end. He projects to be a low major prospect.
6’6 Chris Bunch Chris Bunch 6'7" | SG Wasatch Academy | 2022 State #74 Nation UT – De La Salle HS, Concord
Bunch is one of the most highly regarded wings in the 2022 class for a number of reasons, including leading his team to a 24-8 record this past season. He brings a lot of skills to the table. He is long and athletic and runs the floor well. He is a little thin and needs some bulk/strength. He’s a capable ball handler who passes it well and he does a nice job making plays when the help/double team comes at him. Bunch moves fairly well without the ball and he shoots it ok. But his shot but needs a little work to become more consistent. His best asset is his ability to get to the basket on the drive. He is a capable rebounder and he has the length to block a shot at the defensive end. He is a little inconsistent and does takes some plays off. Bunch is a mid plus/high minus prospect.
6’6 Noah Clifford – De La Salla HS, Concord
Clifford is an absolute warrior combo post-man in the Kurt Rambis mold but with some skills. He has a big/strong body to throw around. He is physical, aggressive, tough and he is a relentless worker. Clifford can pass the ball and does a nice job of not forcing it against a double team on the block. He has capable post-up game with a solid jump hook and he can shoot the ball well enough from the perimeter to stretch the defense. He is a good rebounder in his box who does pursue the ball. Clifford projects to be a low plus prospect.
6’6 Takai Emerson-Hardy Takai Emerson-Hardy 6'7" | SF Vanden | 2022 State CA-N – Vanden HS, Fairfield
Hardy is a fairly athletic combo forward with long arms and some strength who runs the floor well. He’s an ok ball handler who can finish on the drive. He can dribble operate on the block and he has a nice turnaround shot. Hardy is a decent (set) shooter with 3 range but has a slow release and the shot looks funny. He is a fairly consistent rebounder. He is a low major prospect at this point.
6’8 Dajon Lott Dajon Lott 6'9" | C Elk Grove | 2022 State CA-N – Elk Grove HS, Elk Grove
Lott is a versatile forward/post who can play positions 3-5. He’s a fairly good athlete with real long arms who just needs to develop more physical strength. He can bounce it and get to the basket on the drive. Lott is a decent post-up player who can shoot over the defender. He can rebound and does a nice job going to the offensive glass. He is a mid minus prospect with some upside to consider at a higher level.
7’0 Mor Seck Mor Seck 7'1" | C Archbishop Riordan | 2021 State CA-N – Archbishop Riordan HS, San Francisco
Seck is a post-man with an intriguing upside. He’s an ok athlete with long arms, big feet and some wiry strength. He’s a little raw offensively and needs some development. He’s an accomplished rebounder and he does a nice job blocking/changing shots. Seck is currently receiving high major recruitment.
6’6 Jaylen Thompson – St. Joseph-Notre Dame HS, Alameda, CA
Thompson is a smooth and very athletic combo forward with real long arms. He elevates and finishes impressively and almost effortlessly. He can pull up in the mid-range and shoot over defenders with ease. Thompson has a solid one-bounce drive and a decent floater in the lane. He moves well without the ball and will bury the defender who falls asleep on him. He’s a fairy good rebounder who does pursue the ball and he can block shot. Thompson has multiple high major offers.
