East Lincoln HS Justin Kuthan: One of the few players in the state with size that doesn’t seem to mind playing inside the paint. Constantly battling for position, playing through contact and finishing inside, he brings a legit interior presence to the team. His stats of 20 Points & 12 Rebounds per game show what type of impact he was able to bring for his team on a nightly basis.
Northwood HS Forward Jalen McAfee: He should have an early impact on the next level as he will be playing his college ball at Cape Fear Community College. At about 6’5 with a long wingspan and nice overall skillset, he can make plays in the paint but also on the perimeter.
Cox Mill HS Wesley Poindexter: He was one of the captains on his high school team that would go on to win 20+ games. Leadership is one of the attributes that he brings to the table as well as solid contribution with his scoring, rebounding and defense.
Northwood HS Guard Aaron Ross: The multi sport athlete was a valuable piece to the success of his team this year. He’s strong and athletic, gets after it on the defensive end and rebounds the ball at a nice rate however one of his better attributes is the leadership he brings for his team.
West Stokes HS Guard Isaac Spainhour: A hard nosed guard that seems to find ways to score the ball at a solid rate . Whether he’s playing on or off the ball , he’s constantly moving which forces the defense to work all game long. On the defensive side of the ball he gives max effort whether he’s defending on the perimeter or fighting for rebounding inside.
