Star 2022 G/F prospect MJ Rice announced his decision to attend Oak Hill Academy next year. Rice played his first few years of high school ball at Durham Academy & with Team Wall during the Grassroots season. Rice has a nice mixture of strength, athletic ability and skillset which has already caught the attention of top college programs.
The Burlington School 2021 Forward Kuluel Mading Kuluel Mading 6'10" | C The Burlington School | 2021 State NC continues to see his stock rise as he recently picked up an offer from Providence. At 6’9 with an advanced skillset, he shows plenty of upside which is something colleges love to see.
Central Carolina continues to add to their outstanding recruiting class as they recently picked up a commitment from Eastern Wayne Guard Wesley Case. He’s a talented player that brings confidence, scoring and toughness to the floor. He should fit right in with their style of play and will develop there nicely over the next few years.
It’s been another good week for Westover HS & their 2021 Guard D’Marco Dunn D’Marco Dunn 6'4" | CG Westover | 2021 State #75 Nation NC . Not only was he named to the AP All-State team but he also picked up another offer from UNC. Dunn is one of the best scorers in the state and is working his way up the 2021 rankings nationally as he’s already in the top 5.
Millbrook HS & Team Wall 2021 G/F Eric Van Der Heijden Eric Van Der Heijden 6'9" | SF Millbrook | 2021 State #235 Nation NC continues to blow up recruitment wise, he recently picked up offers from Maryland & Nebraska. His height and skillset are two of the reasons why college coaches are so intrigued as you can play him at multiple positions.
Davidson CCC picked up another nice player in Mount Zion Forward Isaac Weaver Isaac Weaver 6'6" | SF Mount Zion | 2020 State NC who committed recently. Weaver has shown the potential to be a very special prospect and could be a player that blows up recruitment wise if he locks in over the next few years.
