Long Islands Rising Seniors Under 6”4

<p>Here is our second part of underated players 6”4 and under on Long Island. This group will be looking at a bigger role for their clubs in the coming season. They all project as D3 players, or possibly depending on how well they develop D2.</p> <p><strong>MITCHELL CUMMINGS.    6”3.   SR (2021)   MOUNT SINAI H S</strong></p> <p>A player still learning the game. But he has the important parts down. He can score around the rim and also shoots it well. Needs to still gain some experience. Was just short of a double-double last year averaging 8 ppg and 8 rebs a game.</p> <p><strong>NICK SVOLOS.   6”2.     SR (2021)      KINGS PARK H S</strong></p> <p>It's not often you get a high school player with international experience but you have it with Nick. He has played for Greece on their national team. Really can stroke the three. Has a decent handle. Working on his pull up, in the lane.</p> <p><strong>RONALD LAWRENCE.    6”3.     SR (2021)    CENTRAL ISLiP H S</strong></p> <p>Plays bigger than 6”3 on the defensive end. Has the ability to change shots. Very good rebounder and can block shots. Runs the floor really well.  Lacks experience but with added responsibility, he should gain confidence.</p> <p><strong>RUSSELL ANTI.       6”1.        SR (2021)  </strong> <strong> CENTRAL ISLIP H S</strong></p> <p>Three-sport athlete who also excels in the classroom. Coach isolates him with his back to the basket. Also a very good rebounder. Looking to improve on the 12-15 foot jumper.</p> <p><strong>ISAIAH RANDOLPH.   6”2.      SR (2021)      BRENTWOOD  H S</strong></p> <p>Extremely athletic, physical, big-bodied player. The kind of player every team can use. Really quick, and gets to the rim. Puts the ball on the floor well. He has a city game. Still learning the finer parts of the game. </p> <p><strong>RASHAD LAWSON.   6”3.  SR (2021)   MATTITUCK H S</strong></p> <p>Very good shooter. Excellent mid-range game. Can hurt you with his shot off the dribble. His wingspan makes him play closer to 6”6. </p> <p><strong>TRISTAN COSTELLO   6”1   SR(21)   SHOREHAM WADING RIVER </strong></p> <p>Very quick, getting to the basket. Finishes with both hands through contact. Extremely athletic. Improving on his ball-handling and becoming a more consistent shooter.</p> <p><strong>JORDAN EVELYN   </strong><strong>     6”2      SR (2021)      UNIONDALE H S</strong></p> <p>High IQ player. Has good court vision and awareness. He can really shoot it.  Handles the ball well.
