True floor general that makes every teammate around him better. Aiden is an incredibly gifted facilitator that can really thread the needle; his court vision in on another level. He has the rare ability to see plays before they materialize and it creates dime dropping opportunities all game long. A highly productive offensive player, if he’s not dishing the ball out, he’s getting buckets. He beats his man in many ways, Wall has phenomenal quickness and explosiveness and his handle is very controlled and unpredictable. You must have help when attempting to guard him 1-on-1, even at 5’8 he’s always finding a way to get his shot up and over taller defenders. His jumper can be effective with the way he’s able to keep the defense honest. He has a high arcing releasing and a sweet floater that will surely become deadly over time. Aiden Wall has a world of talent and the more experience he gains, the more dangerous he will become. Not only has his skills gotten better, but he’s packed on plenty of muscle this offseason and is prepared to come back bigger and better.
John Foster III – Shooting Guard – Life High School Waxahachie (2023):
A hungry prospect with raw skill and talent. Foster’s ceiling as a 3-point specialist or a legit scoring threat is high. He’s a good shooter, has a nice form, and his shot is becoming quicker and quicker; if you don’t get a hand in his face fast enough, he will destroy you. In the lane, John’s aggressive nature and strength allow him to either finish through the contact or draw the foul. A solid ball-handler, his game is very poised and calm, he doesn’t seem to ever get rattled or out of character. He already has good size and long limb at 6’1, once he adds some muscle he’s really going to be a problem. John Foster is a hardworking tough-minded kid that is going to come back better than ever, ready to make an instant impact. I’m excited to see how much he progresses throughout the next few years.
DaeVeon Scott – Point Guard – Keller Central High School (2022):
6’1 lefty with shifty handles, good court vision, and killer speed. DaeVeon is a game-breaking player that can make a huge difference at any second. He’s a dangerous iso threat who has no problem beating his man off the dribble, consistently utilizing his length and quickness to get to the rack. Scott does a great job of taking the baseline and beating overpursuing defenders with his lightning-fast first step and hesitation. He makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands, he doesn’t take bad shots and he knows when to be aggressive and when to let the game come to him. DaeVeon is an unselfish guard usually looking to keep his teammates involved, he can even make some really tough passes when driving the lane. DaeVeon Scott shows an upside as a playmaker, he’s one of the more talented players that has slid under the radar.
