Roster
Isaiah Alexander 6’3″ Whitfield: A slashing wing player who plays with a high motor. He keeps his activity level high at both ends of the court. On his high school team, he is usually matched up with opposing post players as the biggest player on a small team, so he uses his motor and quickness to compensate. He averaged nine points a game as a junior.
Aaron Brady 6’1″ Trinity: A very solid combo guard who does the job at both ends of the floor. Has good quickness and ball handling ability. He is primed for a much bigger role next season.
Roddy Alexander Roddy Alexander 6'1" | PG Christian-O'Fallon | 2021 State MO 6’7″ MICDS: A bouncy power forward with solid moves around the basket to go along with his rebounding and shot blocking ability. The lefty has a nice turnaround jumper in the post and he can also attack the basket off the dribble from the high post. He averaged seven points and five rebounds for a team that won 23 games and a conference championship.
Kevin McCoy 6’1″ St. Louis Christian Acadmey: A solid guard who handles the ball well and works well within the offense. Makes good decisions with the ball with the ability to make open jumpers
Brandon Ming Brandon Ming 6'5" | SF University City | 2021 State MO 6’4″ University City: An athletic wing player who excels at both ends of the court. For his size, he is one of the best offensive rebounders around. He has a good feel and a zest for offensive putbacks. He also has good slashing moves to the basket. He averaged 12 points and five reobunds while shooting 58 percent from the field while blocking 38 shots.
Landon Poppa Landon Poppa 6'4" | SG Mound City | 2021 State MO 6’10″ Salem: A massive post player who goes about 290 pounds and he knows how to use his bulk around the basket. He holds his position well and he can score around the basket with a soft shooting touch. He can also extend his shooting out to the high post. He also has solid mobility for a player of his size.
Drake Stevenson Drake Stevenson 6'5" | SF Fort Zumwalt North | 2021 State MO 6’0″ DeSmet: A solid combo guard who can really shoot the ball from downtown. He moves well without the ball and has a quick release. He shot 42 percent from 3-point range and 83 percent from the free throw line as a junior.
Keashon Petty 5’11″ Parkway North: The speedy point guard is one of the best at going coast to coast with the ball and finishing at the rim. He can blow by defenders off the dribble or change speeds to keep them off balance with his nifty handles. He loves to keep the pace fast and furious. He averaged 17.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.1 steals while shooting 56 percent from the field.
Drake Stevenson 6’6″ Fort Zumwalt North: A versatile combo forward who was a key figure in the Panthers’ district championship team. He is a blue-collar player who could do a little bit of everything to help his team. He averaged 8.2 points and 6.3 rebounds while shooting 52 percent from the field.
Ryan Swingler 6’5″ St. Mary’s: As a junior, he averaged 9.4 points and 4.7 rebounds while making 37 3-pointers and shooting 40 percent from long distance.
