First up is the one player in the state with the most NBA potential for sure and that is 6’10 Paolo Banchero Paolo Banchero 6'10" | PF O'Dea | 2021 State #3 Nation WA of O’Dea High School. A consensus top five player in the country, regardless of position. Banchero is powerfully built, can hit the 17 footer or attack his man off the bounce. He plays very well within the team concept and can fit into multiple playing styles. He is down to Kentucky, Washington, Gonzaga, Arizona, Tennessee and Duke. At number two is Washington Husky commit, Jackson Grant Jackson Grant 6'10" | PF Olympia | 2021 State #78 Nation WA (feature image). The 6’9 star of Olympia High School has put himself on the map in the last year and a half and now sits as a top 50 player nationally. A stretch-4 with a nice skill set for his age. As his body continues to fill out, he will be a problem for teams in the Pac-12 over time. The third best power forward in the state is better at football, which is honestly scary. 6’5 Jaylahn Tuimoloau Jaylahn Tuimoloau 6'5" | PF Eastside Catholic | 2021 State WA is the country’s number one football player, but I have had Division 1 coaches tell me they would take him right now for the basketball team. He can handle it on the perimeter, he has great footwork and overbearing strength in the paint. Don’t be surprised to see the Eastside Catholic superstar playing on Sunday’s at some point. Next up is Interlake High School’s Derek Kramer Derek Kramer 6'10" | PF Interlake | 2021 State WA . The 6’9 shot blocker is improving year by year and he had a really solid junior season. He has great length protecting the paint and runs the floor pretty good too. He has an above average offensive skill set and will just need to put on some strength for the next level. 6’7 Lemuel Armstrong Lemuel Armstrong 6'7" | PF Rainier Beach | 2021 State WA is number five due his strength, mobility up and down the floor and great energy that he plays with. He can hit the midrange shot, but just needs to continue to tighten up his offensive skill set and be a consistent threat to score and he will be able to help some college program. To wrap things up, we have 6’8 Leland Zender Leland Zender 6'8" | PF Squalicum | 2021 State WA of Squalicum High School. A high energy forward that can hit the outside shot. He is unlike most power forwards in this group as he almost plays a European style offensive game. A sleeper in the 2021 class!
