| 6’2 G | Louisburg
Durham burst onto the varsity scene for Louisburg strong in 2019-20 alongside top junior prospect Elijah Jamison Elijah Jamison 6'3" | PG Liberty Heights | 2022 State #204 Nation NC . He put up 10.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 3.6 apg and 1.2 spg to begin his high school career. He’s got nice size already at 6-foot-3 which allows him to play either guard position. With his skill set, he’s set to make a splash over the next few seasons.
#2 Jakel Powell Jakel Powell 6'5" | SF Raleigh Christian Academy | 2024 NC | 6’4 G/F | Neuse Christian
Powell is an emerging wing prospect that can also work his way inside given the level he plays at. He’s got solid handle with the ball and is aggressive when it comes his way, looking to make a play at all times. As he grows into his body and athleticism, he’ll be one to keep an eye on in the area.
#3 William Otto William Otto 6'4" | CG Greensboro Day | 2024 State NC | 6’1 G | Broughton
Otto is a shifty combo guard that primarily plays the point guard position but he’s even more lethal when he’s moving without the ball in his hands to get shots. He’s got a high IQ and score it from all three levels already. He looks to make plays for others when he’s running things, but when he finds his rhythm himself, he’s tough to defend.
#4 Quasim Oden Quasim Oden 6'1" | PG GRACE Christian | 2024 State NC | 5’11 G | Knightdale
Oden is a two-way threat that made waves in the NAC VI Conference during his freshman season, earning All-Conference honors as a result. The Knights went 5-4 in conference action as he put up 6.0 ppg, 1.5 apg and 1.3 rpg in his first season on varsity. Look for him to break out in Year 2 for the Knights.
#5 Lazarus Bell Lazarus Bell 5'8" | PG Mt. Zion Christian Academy | 2023 State NC | 5’8 PG | Mt. Zion Christian
Bell is a prospect that spent time on the JV level at Mount Zion this past season. He should be a lot more polished in 2020-21 at the point guard spot as he looks to push his game to the next level. He’s quick with the ball in his hands and loves creating in the paint for his teammates.
#6 Jalen Yancey Jalen Yancey 6'4" | SF Wakefield | 2023 State NC | 6’3 G/F | Wakefield
Yancey spent some time on the JV squad in 2019-20 but that should pay dividends for him in 2020-21. He’s a 6-foot-3 prospect that can play multiple positions on the floor and has a high IQ for making plays. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on for Wakefield as they look to return to their dominant form.
