He produced 18.5 ppg, 8.9 rpg and 1.5 apg as they won the conference and made it to the NCISAA State Semi-Finals. He’s a combo guard that knows how to get to the rim and make things happen. As he develops his game on the perimeter, he’s a player with a high ceiling for growth. He holds offers from NC State, Providence, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh and Boston College.
#2 Po’Boigh King Po’Boigh King 6'4" | CG Word of God | 2022 State NC | 6-4 SG | Word of God
King had a strong debut season in 2019-20 for Word of God showing off his prowess for knocking down shots on the perimeter at a high volume. He’s got a solid frame that allows him to navigate the defense and create opportunities as a sharpshooter. He’s got in the gym range that saw him make as many as seven 3-pointers in 2019-20. He already holds offers from Arizona State and Ole Miss.
#3 Comeh Emuobor Comeh Emuobor 6'4" | CG Brewster Academy | 2023 State #198 Nation NC | 6-4 G/F | Enloe
Emoubor is just scratching the surface of what he can do with the Enloe Eagles. He’s an athletic slasher with a high IQ for making plays for himself and others. He’s got nice length and strength already for his size at 6-foot-4. As he learns to make an impact on both ends, he’s a prospect due to break out at Enloe.
#4 Khalil Marshall Khalil Marshall 6'1" | PG Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC | 6-1 PG | Word of God
Marshall is an emerging point guard prospect that really gets after it on the defensive end. His biggest asset is his ability to defend the basketball with pressure and force turnovers. On offense, he’s a playmaker first that gets his weapons free on the floor. He had a strong season coming off the bench in 2019-20 and is due to play a big role in 2020-21.
#5 Nikolas Graves Nikolas Graves 6'3" | PG Greensboro Day | 2022 State NC | 6-0 PG | Durham Academy
Graves is another floor general that’s shown flashes of his brilliance on the hardwood. He makes sharp passes and has a high IQ for when to score and when to pass. He’s unselfish with the ball and looks to make the easy play. On defense, he’s already learning to be more physical and push the envelope. As he learns to become a two-way threat, he’s one to keep an eye on.
#6 Cooper Land Cooper Land 6'11" | C GRACE Christian | 2022 State NC | 6-10 F/C | GRACE Christian
Land is a recent mover to GRACE Christian after spending time at Middle Creek High School the past few seasons. His presence in the GRACE lineup should change things drastically in their frontcourt. He battled through tendinitis for much of 2019-20 but still averaged 5.1 ppg and 3.1 rpg in the rotation for the Mustangs. As he develops on the interior on both ends, he’s a big man to keep an eye on.
#7 Asa White Asa White 6'8" | PF Combine Academy | 2023 State NC | 6-8 F | Garner Magnet
White is an emerging forward prospect that’s shown flashes of what he can do at Garner Magnet. He’s a 6-foot-8 mobile big man that rebounds well and gets to the rim with his length. On the defensive end, he’s learning how to make an impact as a rim protector. As he learns to make his presence felt at all times on the floor, he’s a prospect in this class due for a lot of growth.
#8 Noah Ross Noah Ross 6'6" | SG Trinity Academy (Raleigh) | 2022 State NC | 6-4 G | Trinity Christian
Ross is one of the best all-around shooters in the class of 2022. He’s mastered shooting off the catch and off the dribble on all three levels and is a prospect that can fill it up when given room and rhythm. He’s got nice size too at 6-foot-4 which allows him to rise up over smaller defenders for shots. He’ll be one to watch in this class as a break out player.
#9 Julien King Julien King 6'3" | CG GRACE Christian | 2023 State NC | 6-2 G | Broughton
King is a 6-foot-2 combo guard that had a productive season in 2019-20 with Broughton. He’s a prospect that can score it on all three levels, especially off the dribble. He’s shifty with the ball in his hands and isn’t afraid to attack the rim and finish in the paint. He’ll be one to keep an eye on in 2020-21.
#10 Collin Tanner Collin Tanner 6'6" | SF Combine Academy | 2023 State NC | 6-4 G/F | South Granville
Tanner was an unsung hero off the bench in 2019-20 for the South Granville Vikings. He produced 11.3 ppg and 4.2 rpg while shooting 40 percent from 3-point range. He made 63 3-pointers off the bench and had a few 20+ point games to show off his ability as a sharpshooter on the wing. He’ll be another player in the area to keep an eye on.
