No. 1 — Parker Friedrichsen Parker Friedrichsen 6'4" | SG Bixby | 2023 State #165 Nation OK | 2023 SG | Bixby |
Friedrichsen posted 16.5 points-a-night on 40 percent from the arch, exceptional numbers for a freshman at the 6A level. A quality all-around scorer, shooting is Friedrichsen’s bread and butter, with his length and focus being essential to his success from distance. His maturity and efficiency, also catalysts to his game, are so apparent that it’s easy to forget he still has three years to break records. There isn’t much inhibiting Friedrichsen from becoming one of the most exposed recruits in the state in that time.
No. 2 — Seth Pratt Seth Pratt 6'3" | SG Memorial | 2023 State OK | 2023 SG | Tulsa Memorial |
Pratt connected on 58 percent on his shots from long-range last year — the best in the state. With former teammate Kavon Key Kavon Key 6'4" | SG Tulsa Memorial | 2020 State OK taking his talents to Henderson State next year, Pratt will likely be granted green-light status in 2021. Should Pratt’s outstanding freshman efficiency prove to be the norm, his recruiting could have a very high ceiling.
No. 3 — Caison Hartloff Caison Hartloff 6'4" | SG Claremore | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Claremore |
With over one thousand points to his name, Hartloff returns for his senior season as one of the most prolific scorers in the region. The smooth sharpshooter’s production is inflated by his clever game. He often bests defenders with sharp pumps, placebo moves and overall high-iQ play to create shots for himself.
No. 4 — Elliott Andrew | 2021 SG | Holland Hall |
Andrew has all of the mechanics you want out of a great shooter. He is technically consistent and repetitive in his motion, has great foot-work into shots and can fire-off shots quickly. Those skills culminating with his height make him a deadly scorer who can catch fire from 3-point land.
No. 5 — Caleb Leslie | 2022 SG | Owasso |
One of Leslie’s personal development coaches said that he consistently competes with college shooters in training workouts. That skill was apparent last season for the Rams’ star sophomore. Leslie can connect on numerous shots a night while maintaining a high-percentage. Owasso coach Brian Montonati praised the reliability of his sharpshooter in the Tulsa World, saying, “There’s not a bad shot for Caleb if he’s open.”
No. 6 — Luke Hasz Luke Hasz 6'3" | SF Bixby | 2023 OK | 2023 CG | Bixby |
As he displayed at the Top 250 event last summer in Oklahoma City, Hasz can light-up opposing competition from long-range. Hasz shines especially when creating his own shots from the dribble or hitting contested shots. He gathered 10 points-a-night in his freshman campaign, and that number projects to rise in years to come.
No. 7 — Xavier Glenn | 2021 SG | Bixby |
As Bixby’s premier on-ball scorer, Glenn can get the ball in the hoop in many ways, but it may be his mid-range finishing skills that make his game so exceptional. He can finish shots from the pull-up as well as anybody in the region.
No. 8 — Tyreece Frierson Tyreece Frierson 5'10" | PG Tulsa Memorial | 2022 State OK | 2022 PG | Tulsa Memorial |
Frierson has uncanny efficiency for his skill-set. Despite scoring mostly from the dribble or in motion, he connected on 44 percent of his 3-pointers and 50 percent of all field goals his sophomore season, his 3-point efficiency a class-third.
No. 9 — Ethan Roush | 2022 SG | Holland Hall |
Roush utilizes his height to let shots come to him rather than the converse. He’s highly-efficient, skilled and consistent shooting the ball. He is also exceptional in dead-eye situations, setting his feet quickly and firing away.
No. 10 — Trent Ellison Trent Ellison 6'3" | CG Owasso | 2021 State OK | 2021 SG | Owasso |
Ellison’s strength is hitting difficult shots from the dribble. His shooting foot-work is exceptional, and his athleticism grants him the ability to make moves and convert on shots that many athletes could only dream of completing.
No. 11 — Demitrius Neal Demitrius Neal 5'11" | PG Tulsa Hale | 2022 OK | 2022 PG | Tulsa Hale |
Neal can hit shots from the catch, the dribble or anywhere you need him to score. He displayed his shooting talents in a 52-point game last season.
No. 12 — Jaren Keith | 2021 SG | Verdigris |
Keith’s shooting abilities stem primarily from his court awareness and iQ. Once he reaches his zone, he can hit numerous shots in a contest.
No. 13 — Tyler Pinder Tyler Pinder 6'2" | PG Broken Arrow | 2021 State OK | 2021 PG | Broken Arrow |
Pinder’s primary shooting strength is finding and connecting on extended shots to stretch defenses.
No. 14 — Caleb Nibbelink | 2022 SG | Catoosa |
Primarily a wing-shooter for the Indians, Nibbelink uses his 6-foot-3 frame to finish contested shots from the catch.
No. 15 — Jared Barnes | 2021 SF | Broken Arrow |
Barnes is an asset to the Tigers’ scoring attack because of his ability to sink shots from the dribble. His versatility as a scorer also lends Barnes an upper-hand.
No. 16 — William Mcguire | 2021 PG | East Central |
McGuire is a worthy athlete to keep on your radar; his shooting capabilities landed him a spot on the All-World Honorable Mention short-list. If he can keep hitting shots like these, he may make the cut for one of its teams next season.
No. 17 — Seth Streeter | 2021 PG | Regent Prep |
Streeter can light-up opposing teams with his ability to hit extended shots to stretch defenses, and he can go on runs of consecutive makes as well.
