PG- Ben Knostman Ben Knostman 6'4" | PG Tippecanoe | 2021 State OH (Tippecanoe)- The lengthy guard has developed into one of the better D2 prospects in the state. Combines size with a good feel for the game as a ball handler, especially against stiff and sometimes athletic competition, Knostman showed last season he can be a primary scoring threat while also running the show in the backcourt. He is my choice for top PG prospect in the city.
2nd Pick: Mehki Elmore (Thurgood Marshall)
SG- Anthony McComb Anthony McComb 6'2" | SG Trotwood | 2021 State OH (Thurgood Marshall)- McComb is a gifted scorer and his ability to score from multiple levels is why I feel he is the best SG prospect. At 6’2, he has decent size and although not the most muscular player, knows how to utilize his size and skillset to be a consistent scoring threat. Quick first step off the dribble drive, almost automatically finding the lane at will.
2nd Pick: Malcolm Curry Malcolm Curry 6'2" | SG Wayne | 2022 State OH (Wayne)
SF- Jacob Conner Jacob Conner 6'7" | PF Alter | 2022 State OH (Alter)- Lengthy hybrid player. Showed he could handle the basketball and run the point for Alter this past season, but naturally will be a wing with his frame at 6’6. Needs to bulk up more, but has shown promise and has the necessary skills currently to excel as a varsity wing. Already has a D1 offer from Bryant University.
2nd Pick: Patrick Ivory Patrick Ivory 6'5" | SF Northmont | 2021 State OH (Northmont)
PF- Kebba Njie Kebba Njie 6'8" | PF La Lumiere | 2022 State #152 Nation IN (Centerville)- Kebba brings the same defensive shot blocking mentality as his older brother Mo did. The difference here besides age is Kebba has a more consistent shooting touch and with better form, can step out further and use a jump shot as his disposal. Has long arms and protects the rim with his size and length.
2nd Pick: Aidan Reichert Aidan Reichert 6'4" | PF Jackson Center | 2021 State OH (Jackson Center)
C- Shawn Phillips (Belmont)- Arguably the best built prospect in the city, Phillips brings incredible size at 6’10, and also combines with a wide frame, long arms, and strong build to be a true low post center. While he is working on fixing some of his mechanics, especially his finishing at the rim he no doubt has already earned respect with offers from schools including TCU and Auburn so far.
2nd Pick: A.J. Braun (Fenwick)
