We looked at the class of 2021 and ranked the Ann Arbor point guards – Ann Arbor City Rankings: 2021 Floor Generals. We also looked at the shooting guards/small forwards/wings in the class of 2021 – Ann Arbor City Rankings: SG’s And SF’s. Now we will look at and rank Ann Arbor’s post players in the class of 2021. The schools included are Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard, Ann Arbor Greenhills, Ann Arbor Huron, Ann Arbor Pioneer, and Ann Arbor Skyline.
FIVE
Cole Streeter (C, Ann Arbor Skyline)
Streeter is the type of player that every coach wants at least 1 of. He’s a warrior in the paint. Streeter is willing to play whatever role his team needs in order to get a W.
FOUR
Connor Easthope (2021, PF, Ann Arbor Pioneer)
Easthope is a top notch football prospect, but a really nice basketball player as well. He’s versatile enough to defend on the perimeter or in the paint.
THREE
Rasheed Sampson (2021, PF, Ann Arbor Pioneer)
He’s another versatile Pioneer player that I don’t really like labeling with a position. He’s a grinder on both ends and is willing to make hustle plays.
TWO
Dinalli DeLoach (2021, PF, Ann Arbor Skyline)
DeLoach might be the most explosive athlete in Ann Arbor next season. He’s solid running the wing in transition and can bring the crowd off their seat when he finishes.
ONE
Kingsley Perkins Kingsley Perkins 6'7" | PF Ann Arbor Huron | 2021 State MI (2021, PF, Ann Arbor Huron)
Wow, has he come a long way. In 8th grade he was a thin athlete with the potential to rock a gym, but didn’t really have an identity to his game. Perkins is now 4 inches taller and a long and elite post defender. He’s a game changer on the defensive end where he challenges and disrupts shots in the paint. Perkins is just starting his basketball career, as he will be a valuable addition to a college program in a couple years.
