We will now dive deep into District 26-6A, which features high school programs: Canyon Cougars, Clemens Buffaloes, East Central Hornets, Judson Rockets, New Braunfels Unicorns, San Marcos Rattlers, Smithson Valley Rangers, and Steele Knights.

After going through the top offensive and defensive playmakers from District 26-6A in the 2019-20 season, we’ve compiled our first and second-team all-district selections. Each of these players earned their spot by impacting multiple areas of the game at a high level for their respective teams.
Here are the All-District Team selections for District 26-6A:
First Team All-District
G – Mike Chandler II (6-1) – Judson (2020)
- Averaged 16.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. Shot 53% from the field and 41% from three-point range.
G – Austin Kenwisher (6-1) – Smithson Valley (2020)
- Averaged 17.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1 steal per game. Shot 38% from beyond the arc and 90% from the free-throw line.
G – Devante Mount (5-11) – Smithson Valley (2020)
- Averaged 14.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per contest. Hit 56% from the field and 70% at the charity stripe.
F – Mason Pullen (6-4) – New Braunfels (2020)
- Averaged 16.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Shot 52% from the field, 37% from three-point range, and 78% from the free-throw line.
F – Davion Wilson (6-3) – Judson (2021)
- Averaged 12.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. Hit 73% from the field and had 9 double-doubles on the season.
Second Team All-District
G – Eli Datesman (6-3) – New Braunfels (2020)
- Averaged 12.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
G – Kaden Gumbs Kaden Gumbs 6'2" | PG San Marcos | 2023 State TX (6-0) – San Marcos (2023)
- Averaged 14.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in district.
G – Kyonte Holder (5-10) – Judson (2020)
- Averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest.
F – Malik Presley (6-4) – San Marcos (2023)
- Averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in district.
F – Zayden High (6-5) – Smithson Valley (2023)
- Averaged 10.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.
