Martin Anguelov Martin Anguelov 6'1" | PG Wildwood Catholic | 2021 State NJ (2021) | Wildwood Catholic
Anguelov was the top shooter on one of the top teams in the state. Wildwood Catholic had two Division I players running their team in Taj Thweatt Taj Thweatt 6'7" | PF Wildwood Catholic | 2020 State #180 Nation NJ and Jahlil White Jahlil White 6'6" | SG Wildwood Catholic | 2020 State #258 Nation NJ . They were complete players and Anguelov was the threat from the outside that kept the floor balanced. He nailed 55 three’s as a junior and that number should continue to rise as a senior.
Diante Miles (2021) | Wildwood
Miles can be filed under top players, shooters, playmakers, etc. He is one of the top players the county which is a good reason why Wildwood won 20 games a season ago. He knocked down 32 three’s and averaged just under 20 points per game. He will be must see action during his final season.
Evan Peters (2021) | Ocean
Peters and Jack Miller Jack Miller 5'10" | PG Ocean Township | 2021 NH combined to knocked down over 100 three’s for Ocean. Miller will be graduating which leaves Peters responsible in picking up the slack. He averaged over two three’s per contest in his junior season. Ocean is one of the strongest teams in the county and that will continue as long as Peters continues to be a knockdown shooter.
Jeremiah Camacho (2021) | Middle Township
Camacho led Middle Township in made three’s during their 12 win campaign. He did most of his work from three proving to be one of the main threats in the county. Camacho did not venture inside the arc much but he moved well without the ball. Middle Township knew how to get their guy open by having him come off screens and move along the perimeter. He will step into an increased role in 2020-2021.
Archie Lawler (2023) | Lower Cape May
Lawler burst onto the scene as an all-around athlete. He can be seen catching passes on the football field and knocking down three’s for Lower Cape May during basketball season. Lawler was the top shooter on the team this season and that will be the case throughout his career. He will become multi-faceted over the years but he already has the jump shot working.
Charlie McNeal III (2021) | Middle Township
McNeal was another threat for Middle Township. He also did most of his work from deep. This team is very balanced but did not have the leadership this season. They will have that with McNeal and Camacho taking big steps as seniors. McNeal has a quick release and can be trusted shooting from anywhere on the floor.
