If you have anyone who you feel should be mentioned, please inbox our service or contact me on my social media accounts below.
Let’s take a look at list 2.0.
Logan Lord – St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders
If you walk into the gym of St. Thomas Aquinas, you are bound to notice Lord. The 6’10″ 2021 immediately stands out and makes his presence known on the court. At 225 pounds, the rising senior has room to put on more bulk to body down defenders. On the flip side, this would also help him absorb contact on defense against positional big men. Therefore, any added strength Lord puts on will enable him to control the play set on both ends of the floor. Along with that, Lord should continue to polish up his post moves and finish with authority. By clicking here, you can see that his natural attributes can cause a problem. While he might be a project, Lord has the upside to blossom into a collegiate player with continued work on his technique and footwork in the gym.
Derrick Lovett Derrick Lovett 6'5" | SF Blanche Ely | 2022 State FL – Blanche Ely Tigers
A strong player at the forward spot, Lovett averaged 10.5 points and 7.1 rebounds for the Tigers last season. The 2021 showed his efficiency around the cylinder by shooting 61% from the field. Against Nova, Lovett scored 23 and grabbed 15 rebounds. In addition, the 6’5″ Lovett is a multi-positional player at the three or four. On the defensive end, the rising junior has good footwork and hands for a front-court big. In multiple games this past season, Lovett recorded four steals. Along with Kolby King Kolby King 6'2" | PG Pembroke Pines | 2022 State FL , Lovett should be an interesting player to watch out for moving forward.
Eric Gibbs – Somerset Prep Hurricanes
A 2021 captain, Gibbs showcased his talent with big-time performances for the Hurricanes a season ago. In a three-game stretch in late January, Gibbs scored a combined 55 points and knocked down nine 3-pointers. At 6’2″, the rising senior has good size to shoot and defend over smaller players. In addition, Gibbs has strong quickness with his hands on the defensive end of the floor. In a game against North Broward Prep, Gibbs recorded eight steals. With his leadership, Somerset Prep has a quality player who can make plays on both ends of the floor.
Eros Carpio Eros Carpio 6'4" | CG Pine Crest | 2021 State FL – Pine Crest Panthers
Playing alongside the Thompson twins, Carpio averaged 10.6 points and 3.4 rebounds for the Panthers. The 2021 has good size at 6’4″ and can extend away from the cylinder to hit a jump shot. An intuitive player, Carpio can find the hole in the zone and hit efficiently from inside the paint as well. As versatile forward, Carpio has good vision in passing lanes to find teammates streaking towards the basket. Overall, a playmaking forward that will make his teammates around him better. David Delancy IV David Delancy IV 6'5" | CG Somerset Pines | 2023 FL IV – Somerset Academy Panthers
A real sleeper to watch out for moving forward is Delancy IV. The 6’4″ 2023 averaged 9.4 points and 3.9 rebounds for Somerset Academy last season. As a point guard, Delancy IV already has the prototypical size and athleticism you look for at the position. With his high motor, Delancy IV recorded a pair of games with ten rebounds. In nearly half his contests, the seasoned varsity prospect tallied eight games in double-figures. In line to be a four-year standout, Delancy has an abundance of college potential.
