PG Tristan Schlinke – 3A Blanco
Schlinke is an elite scoring weapon from the point guard position who has the ability to create his own shot at any level of the half-court. During his junior season at Blanco, he averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals over 37 games played. Schlinke can score in a variety of ways but specializes in his three-point shot, where he can hit from anywhere beyond-the-arc. Has very good court vision and passing ability. His best offensive performance came in the third round of the playoffs where he put up 33 points against a very impressive San Antonio Cole team. Earned TABC 3A Region 4 All-Region Team.
PG Luke Kiser – 4A Burnet
Kiser was dominant this past season for the Bulldogs putting up a stat line of 14.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 4.0 steals per game over 30 contests. A smooth and high-effort player, Kiser excels at creating his own shot and finishing at the rim. An improving shooter who has both mid and three-point range, and can hit coming off a screen or on a pull-up shot. He possesses elite defensive instincts as shown by his 121 total steals during his junior year. Earned All-District 27-4A First Team.
PG Steven Schultz – 5A Regents School of Austin (TAAPS)
A big-bodied point guard who plays with a calm and collected demeanor, Schultz was able to weave his way in and out of defenses this past season for the Knights. With great ball-handling skills, he was able to create shots for himself whether it was in the mid-range or from deep. He possesses a good pull-up shot and floater from the mid-range, all while being able to swish it from three-point range off a pick-and-roll. He has a high basketball IQ and constantly found open teammates with his court vision. Earned TAAPS 5A All-State Second Team.
