We will be breaking down some of the top positions in the state down by county. We begin at the top with the top guards in the Atlantic County. This south Jersey county is dominated by these guards who can do it all on the floor.

Daniel SkillingsDanielSkillings6'5" | SGSt. Joseph (Hammonton) | 2022StateNJ (2022) | St. Joe’s (Hamm.)

Skillings has an extremely appropriate name. His work on the basketball court is next level. He averaged 18.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Skillings hit 40 three’s as well. The 6’5 forward is listed as a big but can play as a guard on the perimeter. His skill set is far beyond the norm.

Carlos Lopez (2022) | Egg Harbor

Lopez was a floor general for Egg Harbor, who made a Cinderella run in the state tournament. Lopez averaged 15 points and was one of the top shooters in the state with 71 made three’s. He could score from anywhere on the floor but thrived using his jump shot.

Pierce is a do-it-all player for St. Joe’s (Hamm.). Along with Skillings, Pierce leads the offense with great efficiency and versatility. He averaged
