Daniel Skillings Daniel Skillings 6'5" | SG Roman Catholic | 2022 State PA (2022) | St. Joe’s (Hamm.)
Skillings has an extremely appropriate name. His work on the basketball court is next level. He averaged 18.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Skillings hit 40 three’s as well. The 6’5 forward is listed as a big but can play as a guard on the perimeter. His skill set is far beyond the norm.
Carlos Lopez (2022) | Egg Harbor
Lopez was a floor general for Egg Harbor, who made a Cinderella run in the state tournament. Lopez averaged 15 points and was one of the top shooters in the state with 71 made three’s. He could score from anywhere on the floor but thrived using his jump shot.
Marcus Pierce Marcus Pierce 6'1" | CG Compass Prep | 2022 State NJ (2021) | St. Joe’s (Hamm.)
Pierce is a do-it-all player for St. Joe’s (Hamm.). Along with Skillings, Pierce leads the offense with great efficiency and versatility. He averaged 19.7 points and was unstoppable in the lane. Pierce finished the season with 172 made free throws. Drawing contact and getting to the line is a skill on the court and Pierce is elite.
Elmarko Jackson (2022) | St. Augustine
Jackson is one of the top players in the Class of 2022. The 6’3 guard averaged 13.3 points per game. Jackson is an agile guard who is a top prospect. Jackson can rebound effectively and defend using his length. He is a slashing guard that runs the floor well and has great athleticism/
Ethan Dodd (2021) | Egg Harbor
Dodd was another catalyst during Egg Harbor’s run in the state tournament. The junior was a duel threat player scoring 10.6 points and grabbing six rebounds per game. He knocked down 46 three’s. Egg Harbor was a team that had many threats from deep. Dodd went beyond shooting the ball and could finish in the lane at a high rate.
Jahlil Kearny (2021) | Oakcrest
Oakcrest rode Kearny this season. The junior was their leading scorer with over 13 points per game and was near the top in almost every other category as well. Kearny is a leader on the floor. He can run an offense or play on the wing.
Jayden Jones (2021) | Atlantic City
Atlantic City was led by Jones and will have their main option back for one more year as a senior. They will be a threat because of Jones and his high IQ. Jones is a strong decision maker and someone that a coach can trust. He is the quarterback of the offense on the floor for Atlantic City.
