One. Will Tschetter Will Tschetter 6'8" | PF Stewartville | 2021 State #96 Nation MN of Stewartville (6’8 PF) and Minnesota Heat. If April had included 17u basketball games Will Tschetter Will Tschetter 6'8" | PF Stewartville | 2021 State #96 Nation MN – and the basketball fans in the state of Minnesota – wouldn’t be sitting here wondering why Oregon State, Virginia Tech, Arkansas, Minnesota, and others likely would of offered by now. The schools would of seen him play live and Will would have the offer list that most other top 150 players have.
Two. Cal Greene Cal Greene 6'7" | SF Mahtomedi | 2021 MN of Mahtomedi (6’6 Forward) and Minnesota Fury. Schools want to see how Cal’s athletic ability and skill level translate at the next level of play. If so scholarship offers will likely follow.
Three. Joshua Streit Joshua Streit 6'9" | PF Eden Valley Watkins | 2021 State MN of Eden Valley-Watkins (6’7 PF) and D1 Minnesota. There will be several schools looking for bigs when some prospects move to the next level of offer, and another sector of college programs that will look to Streit giving them more options. However, before that happens they want to see Streit play. Then he will be a D1 offered prospect.
Four. Finn Diggins Finn Diggins 6'5" | PF Perham | 2021 State MN of Perham (6’5 PF) and Southwest Minnesota Stars. Everybody knows that Diggs is the hard charging double-double type in the paint but his face-up ability both as a shooter and attacking creator have grown. Diggins was likely to lead the Stars to wins in the Pentagon series.
Five. Andre Gray Andre Gray 6'4" | SG Mpls North | 2021 State MN of Hopkins (6’3 SG) and Grassroots Sizzle. Schools are looking for athletes that can defend both wing spots and that have the physical gifts to grow into a strong prospect. Can Gray defend and produce against high major talent in the UAA? We hope to see this summer and if so he will build on his recent Western Illinois offer.
Six. Broden Lien Broden Lien 6'8" | PF ISA | 2021 MN of Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (6’8 PF) and D1 Minnesota. There is a consistency, a stretch four ability, and a fight to Lien that makes me believe Broden would of had 4-5 D1 offers by now playing on the Adidas Gauntlet.
Seven. Kyreese Willingham Kyreese Willingham 6'5" | SF Waseca | 2021 State MN of Waseca (6’5 SF) and Minnesota Heat. I feel that Kyreese would have been the biggest stock raiser in the state of Minnesota if there had been an April open period. Kyreese has physical gifts and versatility that would of had schools following very closely.
Eight. Francis Nwaokorie Francis Nwaokorie 6'7" | C Champlin Park | 2021 State MN of Champlin Park (6’7 C) and Minnesota Fury. Francis may have set a single weekend record of D2 offers with D1s calling by now had the 17u season started on time. His footwork and agility in a big frame will be loved.
Nine. Bryce Lance Bryce Lance 6'3" | PG Marshall | 2021 State MN of Marshall (6’3 PG) and Southwest Minnesota Stars. Is Lance a D1 caliber guard? Does Lance have the physical tools to play both guard spots against the best players in the Midwest? Is his sweet jumper really one of the 2-3 elite touches in his class?
Ten. Mattie Thompson Mattie Thompson 6'6" | SF Duluth East | 2021 State MN of Duluth East (6’6 Forward) and Playmakers North. If you hit click on a Mattie Thompson Mattie Thompson 6'6" | SF Duluth East | 2021 State MN highlight clip you will see a 6’6 athlete finishing explosively in transition and attacking baseline. At his size and agility (and 20 points a game this year) college coaches wanted to see if he is a scholarship/top 30 level talent.
