Demarcus Allen (Potter’s House Christian)
Potter’s House Christian always has talent in the SIAA. 6’3″ guard Demarcus Allen is versatile enough to guard the 1 through 3. He played a key rotational role this season and will only see his time on the floor expand. He suited up for the 904 Elite 17U group as an 8th grader and was a true standout. He’s full of energy always looking for a steal or core rebound. Allen is a name to remember.
Darrell Sweeting (Benjamin)
Finishing second in scoring for Benjamin as a freshman, 5’11” guard Darrell Sweeting averaged 11.9 PPG. In 12 of the final 14 games of the season, he topped the double-digit mark with performances of 22 points against Cardinal Newman and 21 points against Miami Country Day. The quick twitch guard shot 65 percent inside the arc (70-of-107 overall). Doubling as a cornerback on the football team, Sweeting has room to grow in height and fill out his body which will make him even more dangerous on the basketball court.
Jonathan Caicedo Jonathan Caicedo 6'7" | CG Hoover | 2023 AL (Calvary Christian)
Clearwater Calvary Christian only graduated one senior from its team in UNF commit Josh Berenbaum Josh Berenbaum 6'8" | PF Calvary Christian | 2020 State FL . The young talent is in place there with 2023 guard Tristan Gross Tristan Gross 6'4" | CG St. Pete | 2023 State #194 Nation FL leading the charge alongside 6’5″ guard/forward Jonathan Caicedo Jonathan Caicedo 6'7" | CG Hoover | 2023 AL . He averaged 5.3 PPG and 4.1 RPG while grabbing a rebound and scoring in all but two games for the 17-12 Warriors. Isaiah Williams Isaiah Williams 6'4" | CG Miramar | 2023 FL (Miramar)
Suiting up in seven games on a deep and tough oriented Miramar group that won the state title in Class 7A, Isaiah Williams Isaiah Williams 6'4" | CG Miramar | 2023 FL is a young prospect to develop. In limited minutes, the 6’3″ guard is just scratching the surface. He will get taller, stronger and more athletic here soon with another growth spurt. With some openings after five seniors graduated, Williams is going to be tasked to do plenty this fall for the defending state champions.
Koree Cotton Koree Cotton 6'4" | SF Souhtridge | 2023 State FL (South Miami)
Another developing athlete down south is 6’3″ South Miami guard Koree Cotton Koree Cotton 6'4" | SF Souhtridge | 2023 State FL . Cotton is a maturing player to keep an eye on.
