Will Yebio Will Yebio 6'0" | CG Bishop Machebeuf | 2022 State CO – Machebeuf
Yebio is a shooter that is starting to come into his own. He got hot last season at times and showed that he could spark the offense and get going. Machebeuf is a fast-paced team that allows its players to play freely. It gives him the ability to showcase his game in its entirety, and with hard work, he will get better and have the opportunity to rise. Yebio put up 13.5 points a game and consistently knocked shots down. His ability to knock down shots opened up some spacing, and when he put the ball on the floor to create, it allowed Machebeuf to play differently. The No.51 player in the class gets to prove himself this season.
Titus Washington Titus Washington 6'2" | PG Cherokee Trail | 2022 State CO – Cherokee Trail
Washington is a 6’2 combo-guard/wing that can put the ball on the floor, shoot a bit as well as get to the rim. He did not get to showcase much of that this season as CT struggled out of the gate. On JV, he got to showcase himself a bit and even got some varsity time where he showed just a tad bit but not enough to turn heads. This would have been a big summer where he got to showcase himself as he will head into next season as a player for the Cougars that they will look on to help turn the ship. His size, strength, and athleticism can separate him for the pack; he just has to stay ready and make the best of the opportunity once he gets it.
Skylar Johnson Skylar Johnson 6'1" | CG Fruita Monument | 2022 State CO – Fruita Monument
Johnson is a player that has solid size at 6’1 and knows how to use it and get the best out of it. He is an athletic combo-guard that shows explosion, and while only being a sophomore was called upon at times to deliver on a talented Fruita Monument team. Johnson had a season-high of 14 points against Adams City and another game where he scored in double figures. He is young and did not play a ton but got his feet wet and showed that he could score. He will have to work on his outside shot, but he is not afraid to shoot the ball at all. Once he gets more comfortable on the court, the sky is the limit for him.
Beau Wilken Beau Wilken 6'1" | CG Ralston Valley | 2022 State CO – Ralston Valley
Wilken is a 6’1 combo-guard that I think will rapidly ascend as he gets more comfortable being on the floor and starring in his role. He can score that ball in various ways, works hard defensively and hustles while he is on the floor. He finds holes in the defense as a cutter and also rebounds extremely hard. He will have to improve as a shooter, but not turn down open looks that he gets. If he wants to see the floor next season as a glue guy, it will have to come on the defensive end of the floor and being a playmaker when the ball does come his way. He is a player that has a lot to work on, but can get it done with hard work.
