Jaylen Thompson:
Thompson, the player out of Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School, in Alameda, is already highly touted. With early offers from USC and Stanford, schools around the country are going to find him really intriguing. The 6’6 forward is lethal in the transition game. He lives above the rim and can snag any ball insight then throws it down. So, he has serious athletic ability. He throws in a mid-range game where he can stretch the court, making it very difficult for defenders to guard him strongly. In addition, the short-range game for him is effective and can finish with either hand. On the defensive side of things, he can recover with ferocious blocks on players. He will be a high-riser for the time being.
Oziyah Sellers:
The 6’3 guard can seriously light it up from deep. He has hit some NBA three’s over his two years at Modesto Christian High School so far. With his lengthy arms on defense, he can cause havoc for his opponents. It is difficult to get around him with his quick feet and long arms. Also, he can rise up quickly well above his defenders on his quick release jumper. He can handle the ball with ease, and when he becomes older in high school, all eyes will be on him. Currently, Sellers holds offers from Cal State Northridge and UC Santa Barbara.
Trey Knight:
Knight, the 6-foot point guard out of Moreau Catholic High School, in Hayward is a tall task for his opponents. Knight is very strong at finishing and can get to the basket with satisfaction. His handles are already next level, sending his defenders in every direction he isn’t going. Trey can also hit from beyond the three-point arc. With his wonderful handles, he can lose defenders creating space for him to bang home a three. He actually already holds an offer from the midwest in DePaul in Chicago. In addition, he holds an offer down south from the San Diego Toreros.
Chris Bunch:
This kid is going to be special. As just a sophomore, Bunch holds offers from all across the country. Ranging from USC to Syracuse, and tons in between. The forward out of De La Salle High School, in San Francisco, brings several assets to his game. First, he has limitless range and can hit from anywhere beyond the arc. Chase down blocks is common for him because his speed kills. He can also put the ball on the deck, put his nose down, and score. He definitely can finish through contact. He also gets to the free-throw pretty often. His offers are going to keep flying through the roof.
Aidan Braccia:
The lefty, Braccia is a good one out of Sacred Heart Prep, in Atherton. He loves to drive to the hoop with his left, and hesitate to get his defender in the air or just go right at them. He gets to the line often and is a strong free-throw shooter. Also, he can sink the deep ball, with his quick release. Braccia, who is only 6’1, has saucy handles as well. He can lose defenders pretty easily, and send them flying. If he can rely a little more on his right hand, he is going to be incredibly difficult to be denied going to the rim. He recently grabbed an offer from American and also holds an offer from UAB.
