Manok Lual Manok Lual 6'8" | PF Bishop Snyder | 2022 State FL (Wolfson)
In Jacksonville, a long athlete is developing his skills in the 6’8″ Lual (pictured). At Wolfson, he instantly made an impact as a sophomore due to his impressive ballhandling as a big and pure basketball IQ. As he adds more muscle, Lual will further his stock and with that, he will be a more consistent finisher and mid-range shooter. He is a prospect that has a chance to really blow up this year.
Faheim Meran Faheim Meran 6'5" | SF West Oaks | 2022 State FL (Miramar)
Consistency was key for Meran at the end of the season as he reached the double-digit mark in 10 of his last 14 games. The 6’5″ guard had 13 points in the Class 7A state championship win over Seminole where he was aggressive and converted 7-of-10 free throw attempts. Averaging 9.6 PPG on the season, he played alongside a versatile and athletic group that included 2020 Citadel signee Brent Davis Brent Davis 6'1" | CG Miramar | 2020 State FL and 2022 forward Deshawn Jean-Charles Deshawn Jean-Charles 6'6" | PF West Oaks | 2022 State FL . Meran will need to tack on some muscle this off-season, but he is likely to run the offense in the fall and that is a big opportunity.
Fabio Basili Fabio Basili 6'2" | CG Oak Ridge | 2022 State FL (Oak Ridge)
Still a young player, Basili made the switch from Lake Howell to Oak Ridge this past season. The 6’3″ guard had a breakout showing with 19 points against Sierra Canyon in mid-December and Basili will develop further as a junior and take on a bigger role. He has had some steady play for Nightrydas on the EYBL Circuit and earned an SMU offer in August. Leading an offense and heading to the rim to score are Basili’s best attributes right now (VIDEO) on top of his athleticness.
Jalen Gilmore Jalen Gilmore 6'3" | CG Bishop Snyder | 2022 State FL (Bishop Snyder)
Gilmore is a very smooth and talented shooter in the Jacksonville area. For Bishop Snyder, the 6’4″ guard has room to grow and fill out his body but for now, he is a dangerous scorer and his deep ball is efficient. He handles the ball with ease, has great side to side speed and he is very confident and calm running an offense (VIDEO). Gilmore is well on his way.
Matthew Webster Matthew Webster 6'8" | PF Bishop Mclaughlin | 2022 State FL (Pasco)
At 6’7″, Webster is excelling in Pasco County due to his ability to attack the glass on both ends of the floor. He had 11 games with 20 plus points including performances of 38 points against Wesley Chapel and 37 points against Hudson. Averaging 20.4 PPG, 7.8 RPG and 3.3 BPG, Webster is able to finish in a variety of ways as he gets to work inside and he will surprise you by hitting jumpers from outside. He is an under the radar big who is already shining.
