Braxton Stacker (Belleville East)
Stacker is about ready to explode! This elite level athlete on the wing has a wiry frame and elite burst slashing and finishing above the rim. Big time player as a wing finisher in transition. Jump shot needs to improve for him to reach his full potential. Has tools defensively that you like to see early on. He hasn’t quite gotten the college attention we feel he deserves for a prospect this good.
Xavier Amos Xavier Amos 6'7" | PF Whitney Young | 2022 State #233 Nation IL (Whitney Young)
Amos didn’t play varsity ball last year which is a big reason he is flying under the radar. Back in the fall at multiple camps he made it known he was a young prospect to watch moving forward! The 6’7” power forward has tremendous strength and athleticism with broad shoulders. Active on the glass for second chance opportunities using his quickness to get put backs. Mid-range shot is an area he shows well offensively. Amos can put the ball on the deck some especially from the high post. Defensively he has the tools.
Sulaimon Agiste Sulaimon Agiste 6'8" | C Michelle Clark | 2022 State IL (Michelle Clark)
Agiste played for one of the pleasant surprises in the CPS this past season. Like Amos he displayed his long term potential at multiple camps in the fall. At 6’8” the big man has a long and rangy frame. He rebounds well in traffic and gets second chance points on the offensive boards. Finishes dump off passes and runs the floor pretty good in transition. Like his potential as a rim protector!
Emondrek Ford Emondrek Ford 6'8" | PF Bloom | 2022 State IL (Bloom)
Ford is a player that we really like his long term upside. He saw limited minutes for Bloom this season with all of their D1 prospects on the roster. This forward is one that is primed to emerge as a D1 prospect in his own right in the near future. The 6’7” four man has tremendous length and the lefty has excellent mobility. Has the ability to take a defensive rebound and start the break on his own. High level rebounder especially on the offensive glass for put backs. Can face up a little and put it on the deck. Defensively he protects the rim and can defend in ball screens. A little raw at times, but so many things to like with this young post.
Justin King Justin King 6'4" | PG Mascoutah | 2022 State IL (Mascoutah)
King sees his stock rise every time we see him play. The Mascoutah point guard has been a consistent presence playing for the Illinois Bears. Really like the upside with this long and rangy 6’2” point guard who will grow several more inches before his college days. Slippery through traffic with the ball weaving through the defense in both transition and the half court. Feel for the game as a passer was an aspect that stood out to us during the high school season. Best basketball is ahead of him.
