The son of Coe head coach Bryan Martin, and twin brother of Evan, Pearson is a good ball handler and excellent passer with good court vision. He’s a high IQ player who understands spacing, positioning and makes the right plays.
Evan Martin Evan Martin 5'10" | PG Linn-Mar | 2021 State IA | PG | Linn-Mar
Son of Coe head coach Bryan Martin, and twin brother of Pearson, Evan is also a good ball handler and decision maker with the ball in his hands. He’s a bit more of a pure point guard than Pearson is, looking to pass more while Pearson looks to attack more.
Connor Lambert Connor Lambert 6'4" | SF Monticello | 2021 State IA | SF | Monticello
A high IQ player with good size, Lambert handles the ball confidently and can score from all three levels. He attacks the glass on both ends of the floor and is a good defender with size and length.
Noah Yahn Noah Yahn 6'2" | SF Muscatine | 2021 State IA | SF | Muscatine
A wing who averaged 12.5 points and is a capable scorer from all three levels, Yahn was the best scoring option for a high school team that lacked options, but still put up reasonable efficiency numbers.
Owen Thomas Owen Thomas 6'4" | SF Aplington-Parkersburg | 2021 State IA | SF | Aplington-Parkersburg
A 6-4 wing with good size, Thomas led the Falcons with 35 made 3-pointers as a junior. He’s a solid rebounder on the defensive end of the floor, can lead the break and score from all three levels.
Matt Riedl Matt Riedl 6'2" | SF Dowling Catholic | 2021 State IA | SF | Dowling Catholic
A lanky 6-2 wing who can defend, handle it and rebounds well. Reidl isn’t a great shooter, but he can get to the bucket and finish effectively with either hand. He’s the type of player who does the little things that winning teams need.
Ty Kehoe Ty Kehoe 6'0" | PG Monticello | 2021 State IA | PG | Monticello
A solid lead guard who handles it well and passes it. He’s able to get to the bucket for finishes or shoot from 3, and is a smart defender and decision maker with the ball in his hands.
Logan Woellert Logan Woellert 6'1" | SG West Delaware | 2021 State IA | SG | West Delaware
A smart player who uses his length to his advantage on the defensive end, Woellert also moves his feet well. He shot 40% from the arc on limited attempts, and needs to become a more assertive offensive threat.
Noah Nelson Noah Nelson 5'8" | PG Algona | 2021 State IA | PG | Algona
A solid decision maker with the ball in his hands and a capable 3-point shooter. Nelson had a 2-1 assist-to-turnover ratio as a junior who also made an impact on the defensive end with 29 steals.
Sid Schaaf Sid Schaaf 5'11" | CG Treynor | 2021 State IA | CG | Treynor
A solid do-everything player who contributes on both ends of the floor, Schaaf has good hands on defense and is a smart defender who can defend multiple perimeter spots. He’s an efficient scorer who can get to the bucket.
Blaine Harpenau Blaine Harpenau 6'0" | SG St. Mary's, Remsen | 2021 State IA | SG | St. Mary’s, Remsen
A wing with solid length, Harpenau missed a chunk of the season for the Hawks. He’s a better shooter than his percentages this season indicated. He has a smooth release on his jumper and good range, and he’s a solid decision maker and passer.
