Prep Hoops takes a look at which players might still be off the grid. Lets take a look at some power forwards who could use some more recruitment down the road.

[player_tooltip player_id="927539" first="Jameel" last="Brooks"] - York Comprehensive HS (pictured on the front)

Brooks a power forward has really good footwork. Brooks has the ability to put the ball on the floor. Brooks has great length and must get stronger down the road. Brooks averaged 12.2 ppg and 8.4 rebounds this past season for the Cougars. Brooks was set to play with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'] on the Grassroots Circuit this summer.
[caption id="attachment_759931" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="927536" first="Victor" last="Otubu"][/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="927536" first="Victor" last="Otubu"] - Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island)

Otubu is a undersized post in the paint for the Warriors. Otubu a football player in the fall isn't afraid to draw contact and carve out space in paint. Otubu averaged 11.4 ppg this past season for the Warriors (14-10). Otubu plays tackle and defensive end on the football team.
[caption id="attachment_987950" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="976945" first="KJ" last="McCluney"][/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="976945" first="KJ" last="McCluney"] - Union County HS

McCluney averaged 8.5 ppg and 7.3 rebounds this past season for the Yellow Jackets (21-7). McCluney 6'6 is a stretch bouncy power forward with soft hands around the paint. McCluney plays wide receiver on the football team on Friday nights in the fall. McCluney has very solid academics in the classroom.
[caption id="attachment_917284" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="927549" first="Luke" last="Krawyck"][/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="927549" first="Luke" last="Krawyck"] - Catawba Ridge HS (Fort Mill)

Krawyck had a very good first season for the Copperheads after transferring over from Nation Ford HS. Krawyck 6'7 has the ability to play inside-out on the floor and has no problems setting screens on the floor. Krawyck has a nice touch on the foul line. Krawyck averaged 8.4 ppg, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks this past season.
[caption id="attachment_982184" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="976905" first="Porter" last="Stanley"] #24[/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="976905" first="Porter" last="Stanley"] - Ben Lippen (Columbia)

Stanley has great academics and a surprising upside to him. Stanley will patrol the paint this season for the Falcons. Stanley has the ability to face-up on the floor and knockdown shots. Stanley plays really well away from the ball.
[caption id="attachment_761050" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="976956" first="Jonathan" last="Burns"][/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="976956" first="Jonathan" last="Burns"] - South Aiken HS

Burns 6'4 had 27 receptions last year for 406 yards for the Thoroughbreds. Burns has the ability to knockdown the three point ball or grab a rebound in the paint. Burns played on the Grassroots Circuit with Upward Stars Riverfront.
[caption id="attachment_987964" align="alignnone" width="300"] [player_tooltip player_id="976909" first="Demarcus" last="Mazone"][/caption]
[player_tooltip player_id="976909" first="Demarcus" last="Mazone"] - Aiken HS

Mazone runs the floor well and has the ability to finish in transition. Mazone 6'6 has good length and the ability to knockdown the open look on the perimeter. Mazone averaged 6 ppg and 6 rebounds last year for the Hornets.

[player_tooltip player_id="927578" first="Sam" last="Wheeler"] - Spartanburg Christian

Wheeler helped the Warriors win a SCISA Class 2A State Championship this past February in Sumter. Wheeler started off his career at Shannon Forest Christian Academy before coming over to Spartanburg. Wheeler averaged 8 ppg, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 blocks this past season.
