DeMeiko Anderson of Minneapolis North (5’11, PG, 2022). Anderson is one of the four North Polar guards that had a big impact on the past winter season utilizing physical combo guard skills to score nine points a game. Playing up with a talented mix of Gain Elite players.
Jalen Cook Jalen Cook 6'4" | SG Park Center | 2021 State MN of Park Center (6’3, SF, 2021). Cook was a key role player for the Pirates coming off the bench as a junior and next year he will step into a big role as a main option. Jalen has been a key piece of Gain Elite the past couple years and this could be a breakout summer for him.
Ahman Decker of Minnesota Prep Academy (6’6, PF, 2021). Decker is coming off a 12.5 point, nine rebound per game season against a schedule of national prep school games. Decker was offered by Hampton in the past year and every viewing we’ve had of Decker in the past 12 months has shown he’s constantly improving as a deep post player.
Puoch Dubol of St. Cloud Apollo (6’7, PF, 2020). Dubol is one of the most coveted prospects in the state’s senior class when it comes to junior colleges and prep schools looking at him for a post grad year. Why? Length, agility, and explosive bounce that has the potential to be a D1 player. Dubol is still raw but the talent is there for a bright future.
Detavius Frierson Detavius Frierson 6'4" | SF Park Center | 2020 State MN of Park Center (6’5, SF, 2020). Frierson is one of the best available players in the 2020 class for two very important reasons: 1) division one level agility, and 2) versatility that stems from a high character work ethic. DT scored 12 a game last year while also playing some lead guard, rebounding at a high level, and defending the other team’s best player.
Robert Grace of Blake (5’10, PG, 2021). Grace is a top 50 level player prospect in the senior class and one of the fastest players in Minnesota high school basketball overall. St. Johns, Augsburg, St Olaf, and Macalester are all in contact after Grace’s 13 point, four assist, three rebound, and 2.5 steals per game junior season.
Trey Johnston Trey Johnston 6'3" | SG Spring Lake Park | 2021 State MN of Spring Lake Park (6’3, SG, 2021). Trey is another top 50 level Minnesota senior-to-be on this team coming off of a seven point per game season on a top ten Class AAAA team. Hamline and Concordia St. Paul are showing the most interest in Johnston right now as he gets ready to be the main Panther a senior.
Xavier White Xavier White 6'6" | SF Hopkins | 2021 State MN of Hopkins (6’5, SF, 2021). Xavier is one of the most interesting players on this list. The potential that White has as a skilled face-up player, as a versatile defender, and as a prospect overall is top 25 level in his class. Xavier will be one of the key players for the Royals next year, and for Gain Elite this summer.
Jack Wetzel of Prolific Prep (6’4, SG, 2020). After an excellent junior season at Cedar Rapids Kennedy Jack went out to Prolific Prep for his senior season. Utah State, Illinois Chicago, Tennessee Martin, Wyoming and Nevada are schools that have been in contact. Jack will be a 2020 that schools will be watching close looking for a last second D1 addition.
Amir Whitlock Amir Whitlock 6'3" | PG Golden State Prep | 2021 State MN of DeLaSalle (6’1, PG, 2021). Amir came off the bench at DeLaSalle this past winter scoring ten a game on a balanced team. He’s looking at a prep school for next winter and Prep Hoops learned that Dartmouth, Princeton, Harvard, Oklahoma and Iowa have been in touch about him as 2021. He was offered by a few division one junior colleges as well.
