Tyler Young Tyler Young 6'8" | PF Fork Union Military Academy | 2020 State NC : Virginia State
After attending Fork Union Military Academy for a season, the Greensboro native announced his pledge to Virginia State University. The 6-foot-8 big man will bring a solid frontcourt presence to a competitive CIAA squad that will play some teams from the state of North Carolina.
Brandon Summers Brandon Summers 6'8" | PF Salem Baptist Christian | 2020 State NC : Johnson and Wales
Summers has come a long way in the Salem Baptist Christian frontcourt this season. He’s a raw athlete with rim protection, rebounding and rim-to-rim skills that are still in development. He came on strong in the paint in 2019-20. He’s a prospect to keep an eye on at Johnson & Wales.
Marquis Eskew: North Carolina Wesleyan
Eskew is a combo guard with a solid skill set for playmaking. The 6-foot-1 guard produced 14.3 ppg, 4.5 rpg and 2.4 apg during his senior campaign. He can get to the rim and finish in traffic and get teammates to their spots on the floor. Defensively, he’s a terror that likes to create on the fastbreak off turnovers. He’ll be a nice addition to the NC Wesleyan backcourt.
Austin Manley: North Carolina Wesleyan
Manley will give NC Wesleyan a sharpshooter to rely on in 2020-21. He shot 39 percent from 3-point land while averaging 24.8 ppg. He’s a 6-foot-5 wing that should compete for minutes as instant offense off the bench.
Shamann Artis Shamann Artis 6'1" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2020 State NC : Independence CC
Artis was a member of one of the top teams in the state at North Mecklenburg. He’s a guard off the bench that excels on the wing in transition and off the bounce as a shooter. He’ll be a prospect to keep eyes on at a top school in Kansas.
Jeremyah McWilliams: Pitt Community College
McWilliams is due to develop on the junior college level over these next 2 years. He’s a solid threat in the frontcourt with his length and ability to finish above the rim. At 6-foot-9, he’s got quite the upside to his skill set.
Rashod Smith Rashod Smith 6'0" | PG Washington | 2020 State NC : Pitt Community College)
Smith is a prospect that’s set to gamble on himself as well, heading to Pitt Community College. He’s a do it all guard that put up over 1,900 points and 700 assists during his high school career and set to do more damage at the next level.
Sabastian Haidera Sabastian Haidera 6'0" | PG Hoggard | 2020 State NC : Central Carolina CC
Haidera is a gamer that gets it done on both ends of the floor. He has a knack for playmaking on all three levels on offense and doesn’t back down from a matchup defensively. He’ll be a nice addition at Central Carolina CC.
