Andre Curbelo Andre Curbelo 6'0" | PG Long Island Lutheran | 2020 State #44 Nation NY | Long Island Lutheran
Curbelo has been one of the best players in the state for two years now. A native of Puerto Rico, Curbelo will play at Illinois next season and they are getting a dynamic player in many forms of the word. Curbelo averaged 15.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game as a senior. He is highly regarded as the top recruit in New York and that is no surprise.
Ahkee Anderson | Center Moriches
Anderson was one of the best playmakers in the state and arguably the best on Long Island. The 6’0 guard averaged 23.7 points per game while leading Center Moriches to the Long Island Class B championship. In the title game, Anderson completely took over with 19 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and finished with 36 total. He finished with a total of 2,109 points in his high school career.
Kieran Dorney | Chaminade
Dorney is a 6’8 forward who plays with great versatility. He put up 24.1 points and 11 rebounds per game for Chaminade. He was a scorer from all over the floor. Dorney used his size to dominate down low and he also knocked down 60 three’s on the season. Dorney eclipsed 30 points six times this season and put up a season-high 41 in a win over St. John the Baptist.
Malik Edmead | Deer Park
In his final high school game, Edmead scored 41 points in a loss. He averaged 26.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in his final season. The Merrimack commit was a dynamic scorer who was best with the ball in his hands. This allowed him to make the right play whether it was scoring or passing.
Darnell Evans | Amityville
Evans is an undersized guard at 5’9 but he has a huge game. He has the ability to look to score or pass. Evans also serves as a lockdown defender. He averaged 23 points, 12 assists, and six steals per contest. Evans finished the season with 25 or more points over the final six games.
Zed Key Zed Key 6'7" | PF Long Island Lutheran | 2020 State #106 Nation NY | Long Island Lutheran
Key was the other half of a dynamic duo along with Curbelo. The Ohio State commit played his best when the lights were brightest. Against Sierra Canyon, Key finished with 25 points and 12 rebounds. He followed that up with 37 points and 15 rebounds against one of the top teams in New Jersey, The Patrick School. Key averaged 17.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. He was also a rim protector with two blocks per contest. Keys athleticism will make him a high-level Division I player.
