Josh Nwankwo Josh Nwankwo 6'6" | SF Putnam City North | 2021 State OK – 6’6 – SF – Putnam City North
Nwankwo has a very diverse skill set, with the ability to throw down an alley-oop, step outside the arc and knock down the three, as well as sitting down and playing tough defense on the other end of the ball. His 6’6″ frame allows for him to be a great rebounder and contest shots well around the rim, while still being able to get down the court with pace and push the ball in transition.
Jackson Skipper – 6’7 – PF – Sapulpa
Skipper’s playstyle is about as unique as you can find. The 6’7 forward plays with the speed and agility of a wing and can step behind the line and knock down threes consistently. He also has a good handle on the ball, working through traffic with no signs of fear or lack of control. Every move he does has a purpose and helps him get to a spot to score or set up a teammate.
Tobias Roland Jr Tobias Roland Jr 6'3" | SG Putnam City North | 2021 State OK – 6’3 – SF – City North
Roland Jr’s strength and energy he plays with makes up for the height he lacks in the post. Another big man comfortable with the ball, Tobias plays with patience and has great timing on all his cuts and post-ups. Roland is a strong leader and shows it whether he is on the court or on the bench. Taking time to help his teammates understand a certain play or concept, Roland makes his teammates better while he is on the court.
Jaelen Tucker – 6’5 – PF – Tulsa Memorial
Tucker is the closest to a Mr. Dunk Everything that you will find in the 2021 class. Running up and down the court hard, setting up in the gutter for a quick dump down a slam, or pinning an opponent’s layup to the backboard, Tucker goes plays at 100%, 100% of the time, taking no possessions off. The forward has great footwork in the post, including a very very good drop step. Keep an eye on Tucker and Tulsa Memorial next season in 5A.
DJ Freeman DJ Freeman 6'4" | PF Casady | 2021 State OK – 6’4 – PF – Casady
Freeman is the most athletic forward in the class of 2021. A strong defender in the paint and on the perimeter, Freeman gives nobody an easy bucket, no matter the situation. Freeman is never afraid to challenge a defender at the rim, showing off his strength and body control at the same time. Freeman had one of if not the most impressive dunks of the season on an alley-oop from his point guard PJ Johnson PJ Johnson 6'1" | CG Casady | 2021 State OK at halfcourt, bringing the Casady gym to an overwhelming roar and constant buzz for at least ten minutes afterward.
