Aidan Kuhl Aidan Kuhl 6'0" | SG Rocky Mountain | 2022 State #245 Nation CO | Rocky Mountain
Kuhl is a player that averaged 17.6 PPG and 2.6 RPG last season for Rocky Mountain while shooting 34% from three-point range (56/166), 71% from the foul line (87/122) and 55% from inside the arc (93/169). He led the team in scoring as a sophomore, and their second leading scorer was a senior so Kuhl will have more work cut out for him as an upperclassman. He is a guard that can score from all three levels and is very crafty inside the paint, he also has great vision and is a willing passer when drawing multiple defenders. He does a nice job of creating space off the dribble and is very comfortable rising up into his smooth lefty jumper. He is a smart player that keeps the defense on their heels with his footwork, ball fakes, and does a great job of relocating without the ball. He is a player I will be keeping an eye on going forward! Currently ranked 23rd in the 2022 class.
Derik Pranger Derik Pranger 6'8" | SF Colorado Prep | 2022 State CO | Arapahoe
It will be interesting to see what Arapahoe looks like after graduating a large number of seniors and several who were key factors for them in their first season under coach Pachner. Pranger will be one of the key guys for them going forward, as a sophomore he played in all 25 games for the Warriors, averaging 5.8 PPG and 2.2 RPG while shooting 32% from deep (29/90). He has good size at 6’6 and is able to hurt the defense both from the perimeter as well as mid-range, developing more of a post game will be next for him. He started to show some confidence towards the end of the season and played some of his best ball then. Without their two returning guards both of whom were one and two in scoring on the team, Arapahoe will rely on Pranger a lot next year. Currently ranked 43rd in the 2022 class.
Kameron Goodrich Kameron Goodrich 6'2" | CG Broomfield | 2022 CO | Broomfield
Goodrich is a player I have always been high on and will be fun to see how he contributes to Broomfield in the upcoming years. He is a skilled guard that can score from every level and does not back down from competition. He shoots the ball very well and has great range. He is crafty around the rim and does not let bigger defenders keep him out of the paint. He’s a smart player who makes the right read and controls the pace well. Goodrich has strong handles and does a good job of putting the ball on the floor as well when players start to close out hard on him. He is a player that we have seen at several showcases and it should be fun to keep an eye on him and Broomfield as they had several seniors graduate which should leave room for Goodrich to make his presence felt right away in the upcoming season. He is ranked 48th in the 2022 class.
Jackson Keli | Sterling
Keli averaged 12.4 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 3.0 APG, 1.0 SPG last season for Sterling, he ranked third on the team in scoring behind two seniors, which will leave a large role for him to fill in the upcoming years. He was third on the team in made threes with (46), also behind the seniors Dylan Anderson (59) and Axel Henry Axel Henry 6'2" | CG Sterling | 2020 State CO (53). He is a guard that impacts the game in several different ways, he’s got a great feel for the game and knows where his teammates will be, he’s also a strong rebounder at the guard position and does a nice job of making the right reads in transition. He finished the season scoring double figures in their last three games, including 16 points and seven rebounds against the number two seed, The Vanguard School in the Great 8 for a ticket to the final four.
Rhys Travis Rhys Travis 6'4" | PF Poudre | 2022 State CO | Poudre
Poudre High School is a young team that should should been fun to watch in the upcoming years, Travis a 6’4 sophomore this season averaged 11.0 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 1.1 APG, 1.4 SPG, 1.2 BPG. His 11 points per game and 4.4 rebounds a game ranked him second on the team in both categories. He is also a player that can score from all three-levels, shooting 49% from inside the arc on the year (66/134) and is able to keep the defense honest from distance as well, shooting (27/100) on the season. He scored a career high in their last game of the season against Broomfield, scoring 26 points shooting four of six from deep. Travis does a good job of finding the open spot on the floor and being shot ready when he receives the pass, keep an eye on him going forward. Ranked 36th in the 2022 class.
