This past season it relinquished that title but they look to take that back with a lot of teams returning some talented players respectively. Region 4 will once again be at the top when it comes to top and bottom talent.
With Lone Peak finishing 2nd to last in Region 4 and making the deepest run in the playoffs makes for a great overall year in Region 4. This was one of the Pro’s of going to the RPI and giving every team a shot at the playoffs across the state.
While the top team in the region in Skyridge looses a lot of key players on their roster, you can’t count out a well coached team and Duncan Reid Duncan Reid 6'4" | SG Skyridge | 2021 State UT . The Division 1 bound SG should see more looks at scoring.
The three teams that return the most are Corner Canyon, Pleasant Grove and Lone Peak. All three of these teams return a mixture of experience and youth.
Corner Canyon leads the way with Carter Welling Carter Welling 6'10" | PF Corner Canyon | 2021 State UT a player that has developed waiting his turn and it has paid off as he has raked up some Division 1 offers and interest. Joining Welling is Trace Ross Trace Ross 6'3" | PG Corner Canyon | 2021 State UT who has a lot of scoring punch in his game.
Pleasant Grove has a solid young core as they return Jordan Ross Jordan Ross 6'3" | PG Link Academy | 2023 #132 Nation MO and Isaac Vaha Isaac Vaha 6'6" | PF Pleasant Grove | 2021 State UT will lead the way for the Vikings. Lone Peak returns one of the best SF in the state in Cameron Brimhall Cameron Brimhall 6'8" | PF Lone Peak | 2021 State UT which will be huge as Lone Peak is always loaded with guards.
Every year everyone sleeps on Westlake, but not this year as they will return Noah McCord Noah McCord 6'3" | SG Westlake | 2021 State UT and Hunter Phillips Hunter Phillips 6'9" | C Westlake | 2021 State UT a great duo that will put pressure on teams defensively inside and out.
American Fork experienced a rebuilding season but the bright spot was Noah Moeaki Noah Moeaki 6'4" | CG American Fork | 2022 State UT who is stud athlete that has been racking up the football D1 scholarships.
Region 4 is back and dangerous from top to bottom. Should be an exciting year from Region 4 once again.
