Prep Hoops is on top of all the latest action here in the Palmetto State. Lets look at which kids made decisions this week on finding schools.

Nicholas BreneganNicholasBrenegan6'0" | PGWade Hampton (Greenville) | 2020StateSC and Tyler BowensTylerBowens6'4" | SFWade Hampton | 2020StateSC will remain teammates next season at Carson-Newman (TN) (NCAA D2). The duo helped Wade Hampton HS Generals to a(25-6) season.  The Generals lost to Dorman HS 66-40 this past season in the Upper State Championship Game.  Bowens averaged 17.8 ppg, 7.3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2.6 steals this season. Bowens was named Region Player of the Year.

Brenton BensonBrentonBenson6'6" | SFD.W. Daniel | 2020StateSC will head down the road to play for the Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers. Benson finished his career at D.W. Daniel HS this season. Benson a athletic forward excelled on the football field as wide receiver. Benson averaged 12.7 ppg and 8 rebounds this season for the (23-6) Lions. 

Devante Johnson

DeVante JohnsonDeVanteJohnson6'1" | PGLugoff-Elgin | 2020StateSC will stay local and attend Coker University (NCAA D2) next season. Johnson averaged just over 20 ppg this season for the Lugoff-Elgin HS Demons.

Snell will remain close to home and play at Coker University (NCAA D2). Snell averaged 23 ppg this season for the Saints. Snell helped the Saints win a 2nd straight SCISA Class 1A State Championship.  Snell started off the season at Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS before transferring in January 2020.  [player_tooltip player_id="843579" first="Zyan" last="Gilmore"] Gilmore a guard will head off to Marshalltown Community College in Iowa next season. Gilmore scored 1,606 career points for the Saints in his 3 seasons. The Tigers play in a great junior college region with the likes of the Indian Hills Community College and Southeastern Community College.  Gilmore averaged 20.2 ppg this season for the Saints (22-4). The Saints finished (51-4) over the past 2 seasons including a (29-0) season back in 2019-2019.  [player_tooltip player_id="843631" first="Leonard" last="Williams"] Leonard WilliamsLeonardWilliams6'2" | SFLaurens | 2020StateSC will do a postgraduate year next season at DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL). Williams a left-handed guard-forward brought toughness and leadership to the Raiders roster.
