Reason for the Ranking (Top 180)
The strange, frustrating end to the 2019-2020 basketball season, if in fact it is the end, affords @PrepHoopsTN time to reconsider and revise. Time to revisit the Class of 2020 rankings and adjust to account for the player’s growth and stagnation. Rankings are subjective. Why did we rank these guys? Why are they at this spot? Take a look at several Class of 2020 prospects and learn a little about their reputation.

#176 Jason Rhodes Jason Rhodes 5'3" | PG LEAD | 2020 State TN (LEAD Academy)
Highest motor. Gritty. Oddly, the 5-foot-5 point guard is a incredible rebounding presence. Throughout his high school career, Rhodes routinely tugged down 7+ rebounds and conquered many a defender with his mental and physical toughness. Rhodes lead LEAD Academy to a 10-0 District 7A record and quality wins over Merrol Hyde (x2), White House, Dyer County, Columbia, and narrow losses to AAA powers McGavock and Franklin. Rhodes surpassed 1,000 career points this senior season.

#177 Henry Hutcheson Henry Hutcheson 6'4" | CG Lipscomb Academy | 2020 State TN (Lipscomb Academy)
Soft touch in and around the paint. Hank is a high-academic, high-character young man with natural leadership skills. Hutcheson doesn’t really play above the rim. He can face-up and score from deep, but his team didn’t really require that of him, especially because he was needed around the rim. Hutcheson’s outside shooting is difficult for defender’s to account for. Pure shooting form. Hutcheson was selected to play in the Nashville Legends All-Star Game (postponed) in late March thanks to his patience and versaility. Willing passer. Hank highlights.
#178 Asher Wolthers Asher Wolthers 6'2" | PF Hendersonville Hyde | 2020 State TN (Merrol Hyde)
At the Class A level, Wolthers was an elite rebounder for the last two years. Double-double nights were routine. As a a junior in 2018-2019, Wolthers collected 8.4 rpg and only improved in his final season.
#179 Nate Brackett Nate Brackett 6'4" | PF Rockwood | 2020 State TN (Rockwood)
Technically sound. Rockwood Head Coach Paul Kamikawa shared, “1. Skilled offensive player. Able to get to the rim or get fouled as a result. 2. Able to move him around because of his skill level. Played PG, wing, post in our offense. District MVP in a nine team district on the fifth place team. Faced double & triple teams every night. Still averaged 20 ppg, 13 rpg.”
#180 Calvin Quehl Calvin Quehl 6'5" | PF Battle Ground Academy | 2020 State TN (Battle Ground Academy)
Nimble. Calvin Quehl Calvin Quehl 6'5" | PF Battle Ground Academy | 2020 State TN was selected to play in the Nashville Legends All-Star Game (postponed) in late March thanks to his bouncy play and ability rebound within his area. Decent outside shooter. Deeper analysis on his game.
