Below is a list of prospects that college coaches should definitely have on their 2022 big boards.
Will Shaver Will Shaver 6'10" | NA lbs | C Oak Mountain | 2022 #130 Nation AL , 6’9 PF/C, Oak Mountain: He is a mountain of a man is probably the best way to describe this prospect. He is also of a different bread in being a stretch 5. He is able to really shoot the ball from the outside in catch and shoot or pick and pop situations. His bread is buttered however on the block. His ability to seal and establish deep post position and finish with either hand around the basket is very high level. He is a very good athlete for his size with good lift and lateral movement. This prospect is a near-lock to become a High Major prospect.
Dresean Knight Dresean Knight 6'9" | NA lbs | C Minor | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’9 C, Minor: A long and rangy rim protector that tries to block everything. He has very good timing and body control which allows him to either alter or swat shots. At a young age, he has a skill of understanding verticality which makes him such an effective shot blocker. He has very good hands and plays up around the rim and catch and finishes in the paint or lobs at the rim. He has an improving offensive game on the block but his footwork is pretty good which should give college coaches promise on the offensive player he could be. He needs to continue working on becoming a more high volume rebounder tho he does rebound his area very well. Look for his stock to continue to soar.
Jamyas Davis Jamyas Davis 6'5" | NA lbs | PF Sipsey Valley | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’5 PF, Sipsey Valley: The big lefty can do it all on the floor. He has a big body that consistently carves out space on the low block. He is nimble and able to thrive on the perimeter. He is a good spot up 3 point shooter and is very effective in the mid-post. He does a great job of establishing early post position and is very physical when attacking the basket. As he continues to improve and grow he can be a very good pick and roll 4 man with the ability to pop on occasions and knock down open jump shots.
Kaleb Heatherly Kaleb Heatherly 6'7" | NA lbs | PF Cullman | 2022 #NA Nation AL , 6’6 PF, Cullman: This is the definition of a physical post player. He does a very good job of establishing post position and look to deliver punishment to his defender once he catches the ball. He does have the ability to step out and knock down threes or put the ball down from the mid-post position and bully his way to the basket. He is a very good post defender as it is hard for offensive players to establish a position on the block. He is relentless to rebounds and loose balls and most times just simply outworks his opponents. You better bring you hard hat when going against this prospect.
Logan Feltman Logan Feltman 6'10" | NA lbs | PF Winfield | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’9 PF, Winfield: A lefty stretch big that is a deadly shooter from beyond the arc. He is ideal for today’s game with his ability to shoot the ball from the outside and add spacing to the floor on offense. He scores it well from the block and the mid-post and uses his off hand very well around the basket. His ability to use either hand makes him a very dangerous player with defenders unable to forces him to play on a particular block or force him to a certain side of the floor. His ceiling is very high and should show even more improvement in his junior season.
