Jacobi Huddleston Jacobi Huddleston 6'8" | PF Bowling Green | 2021 State KY , Bowling Green – One of the few players in the class that’s a legitimate post player at 6’8 and possibly still growing, Huddleston has flashed D1 potential while also showing he has a ways to go. There’s a lot to like about Jacobi’s game but he has yet to play much AAU to this point so he’s pretty far off the radar of coaches but he has impressed a few who came through the gym at BG to evaluate other players.
Jaz Johnson Jaz Johnson 6'2" | SG Wolfe County | 2021 State KY , Wolfe County – Jaz is the likely front runner for 14th region player of the year next season but has yet to see his stock take off with college coaches. That could change if he ever gets to play AAU this summer. A good scorer who does more than just score, Johnson has some versatility and can play on or off the ball.
Zion Thomas Zion Thomas 6'1" | SG East Jessamine | 2021 State KY , East Jessamine – A “Swiss army knife” type of player who does a little bit of everything, Zion is an all around player who scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds per game while playing solid defense all season long. A 52% shooter for the season, his profile would improve if he were a more confident three point shooter. He made 32% of his attempts this year but only took one three per game on average.
Jaylen Dorsey Jaylen Dorsey 6'4" | SG Berea | 2021 State KY , Berea – A small school star, Dorsey had a really good statistical season as a Junior but will need the opportunity to prove he can do it against high level competition. 17 points and 7 rebounds per game as a Junior is impressive but he could use a good summer season, provided we have one. You don’t see many wings with his size and ability level in Kentucky.
Grant Profitt Grant Profitt 6'0" | PG Scott | 2021 State KY , Scott – One of the breakout stars in the past season, Grant is a big time shooter who posted shooting splits of 50/34/86 on his way to averaging 20 points per game. Profitt won’t blow anyone away in the layup line but he has a knack for scoring and has a really strong basketball IQ that should help as he develops as a playmaker to go along with his scoring.
