No. 11
Also one of the top football prospects in the class, Shettron is among the state’s most jaw-dropping athletic talents. It never hurts your game to be able to get way, way above the rim, but his game has much more than elevation. Shettron has a strong mid-range game, can face-up defenders and has little trouble getting the ball in the basket above opposing posts.
Ben Averitt Ben Averitt 6'5" | SF Jenks | 2022 State OK | SF | Jenks
No. 12
Averitt is a talented prospect with the size and power of a forward who has enough guard skill to make him one of the best shooting guards in the state. With that being said, it was a no-brainer to land the multi-talented scorer within the top-fifteen recruits in the state. Averitt was instrumental in the Trojans’ run to the state tournament as a sophomore.
Reid Lovelace Reid Lovelace 5'10" | PG Crossings Christian | 2022 State OK | PG | Crossings Christian
No. 13
Lovelace has been atop local attention in the 2023 class since his post-eighth-grade summer. The incoming junior has had an unstoppable campaign in the first half of his career, including leading the Knights with a team-high 15 points-per-game in his sophomore season as they reached the 3A State Tournament.
Corey Gordon Corey Gordon 6'3" | SF Putnam City West | 2022 State OK | SF | Putnam City West
No. 14
Gordon is an exceptional athlete with the skill to compliment his speed and elevation. Gordon can play in the high post and score on the face-up, beat his defender swiftly on the dribble or even make an impact on the perimeter. Most impressively, his pickup of night-in, night-out responsibilities like cleaning the boards, protecting the rim and stealing possessions make him all-the-more valuable as a prospect.
Ethan Scott Ethan Scott 5'10" | PG Mustang | 2022 State OK | PG | Mustang
No. 15
The No. 1 shooter in the state has the potential to become one of the most sought-after recruits in the 2022 class. Scott has an unlimited range and can go on long streaks of five, six, seven or more consecutive-made shots from the 3-point line on some nights. He lacks stature, but an anonymous NBA trainer tipped that he believes Scott is already as talented as some Division-I sharpshooters the trainer has previously worked with.
