6’4 Cole Anderson Cole Anderson 6'3" | PG Clovis West | 2021 #183 Nation CA-N – Clovis West HS, Fresno
Anderson is the definition of a winner in so many ways. (He lead his team to an over-achieving 26-6 record this past season.) He’s a good ball handler and an excellent passer who sees the floor well. He consistently makes plays in transition for himself and others and he has a nice pull up game in the half court. Anderson has a nice motor and he moves fairly well without the ball. He is a big-time shooter with deep range. He has a nice floater in the lane. He is a competitive leader who runs a team. He has a high IQ and he makes good decisions consistently. He is also a decent defender. He competes on every play and simply, he is a guy you want on your side! Anderson is a mid plus/high minus prospect.
6’2 Geronimo De La Rosa – Brookside Christian HS, Stockton
De La Rosa will be transferring to Modesto Christian with immediate eligibility because Brookside Christian is closing. The team finished 26-8 this past season.
He’s a fairly good athlete with long arms who can handle it but has a tendency to over dribble some. He does push the break and is effective in transition. He’s got a decent half court pull up, moves fairly well without the ball and he shoots it fairly well with 3 range. He also plays the two. De La Rosa is a low major prospect.
6’3 Mike Mitchell Mike Mitchell 6'3" | PG Archbishop Mitty | 2021 State #191 Nation CA-N – Archbishop Mitty HS, San Jose
Mitchell was co-player of the year in the toughest league in Northern California (his team was tri-champions) as a junior and deservedly so. He’s a fairly athletic one man with ok burst. He is a little on the slender side and needs some bulk/strength. He handles it well and he is a brilliant passer. He pushes the break hard on every possession and he sees the floor well. He gets a ton of things done in transition. In the half court he moves well without the ball and he’s a fairly good shooter with 3-point range. Mitchell can penetrate into the lane consistently. He’s also a decent rebounder. He does have a tendency to forces it a bit at times. He also plays the two but he is at his best with the ball in his hands. Mitchell is committed to Pepperdine, a nice steal for the Waves.
6’3 Isa Silva Isa Silva 6'2" | PG Prolific Prep/ Jesuit | 2021 State CA-N – Jesuit HS, Carmichael
There is hardly any debate as to who the man is in the 2021 class (at any position) in Nor Cal. It is Isa Silva Isa Silva 6'2" | PG Prolific Prep/ Jesuit | 2021 State CA-N . He’s a decent athlete who runs the floor hard and plays in attack mode. He’s a very good ball handler and elite-level passer (his best asset). He’s very effective in transition, pushing the break aggressively and consistently. He sees the floor well and has a unique ability to find the open man. Silva is a fairly good shooter with 3-point range with a nice floater. He will always want to take the shot when the game is on the line. Silva has an exceptional motor and he is a no-brainer high major prospect.
6’1 Corey Yerger Corey Yerger 6'1" | PG Grant | 2021 State CA-N – Grant Union HS, Sacramento
Yerger is a real nice blend of athleticism and skills. He is a combo guard who handles it well and is a good passer. He uses his burst effectively in transition and can finish at the end of the break. He shoots it well with 3-range but his shot selection can be a little shaky. He’s a good driver with a nice first step who can break down defenders regularly. He can be a bit erratic at times. He is a decent rebounder from the guard position. Yerger is a mid major prospect worth a higher look.
